PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION OF COLLEGES
AND UNIVERSITIES
(PACU)

October 3, 2001

We are pleased to inform you that the much-awaited sequel to the COCOPEA Young Executives Forum will be held on November 22-23, 2001, at the New World Renaissance Hotel Grand Ballroom 2nd Floor Esperanza St., cor. Makati Avenue Makati City.

To be billed as the "COCOPEA-FAPE Enrichment Seminar-Series," the conference will revolve around the theme "The Emerging Education Executive in the New Millennium: Managing the Challenge of Change."

The objectives of the conference are as follows: first - to announce the launching of the short-term professional courses on effective school management for the emerging education executive to be offered by COCOPEA and FAPE; second - to update the young executives of Philippine private schools on trends and innovations in the various areas of school operations to enable them to meet the challenge of change in the new millennium; and third - to arm the private schools' emerging executives with management tools that will enable them to produce graduates who will not only be intellectually equipped to meet the challenges posed by technological changes but will also be morally prepared for such challenges.

We are certain that this conference will be of invaluable help to you in your task of managing your educational institution, since the chosen topics will give you a macro perspective on the changing environment brought about by technological advances in the new millennium which will exert tremendous impact on your schools' operations.

The conference will be attended by approximately 100-200 young professionals who represent what will hopefully comprise the next generation of educational managers in the Philippines. Presidents, Executive Vice Presidents, Finance Officers and HRD Officers of various schools will also attend this conference.

A copy of the conference program is attached for your information. The first conference held in Tagaytay on January 17-18, 2001, was an overwhelming success, attended by over 110 educators.

The registration fee for the two-day conference is Php 3,500. However, you could avail of the "early bird" pre-registration fee of Php 3,000 by filling up the attached form and sending your check to:
