Lieutenant Colonel Etueni Caucau is currently the Chief Staff
Officer Legal at the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Headquarters
Strategic Command
in Suva.
He joined the Army in 1983 and attended the
Australian Officer Cadet School, Portsea where he was commissioned
as a Second Lieutenant in December 1984. Since his commissioning
he has attended various military promotional and career-building
courses locally and abroad.
During his military career Lt Col Caucau has served on a number of
occasions with the United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon and
has also attended a number of conferences and courses on military
law and the laws of armed conflict both locally and overseas.
In
1989 Lt Col Caucau began pursuing a law degree at the
University
of
Papua New Guinea. He later transferred to BOND
University in Queensland, Australia, where he graduated with a Law
Degree in 1992.
Lt
Col Caucau is also currently the Commanding Officer of
Headquarters RFMF and is a lecturer in military law at the RFMF
Officers’ Training Centre in Suva.
He is now serving his twentieth year of continuous service with
the RFMF. |
