 Collection of DSA

In Nadi, participants are allowed US$109 as daily subsistence allowance (DSA) per day. This amount would pay hotel, meals, and other incidentals. For the three conference days, the organisers will be paying for the hotel accommodation and lunches, therefore for those days participants will only receive 38% of DSA or the equivalent of US$41.42 per day. On arrival at Nadi airport, participants shall please proceed to the ANZ bank branch at the arrivals lounge to collect their DSA.

  Hotel Expenses

Participants should note that the organisers are paying for the room and lunch at the Tanoa International Hotel for the three days of the conference. Please note that breakfast is not included. Whereas the organisers are paying for room and lunch, any other expenses incurred (breakfast, dinner, bar bills, phone bills, laundry and other incidentals) will have to be settled by the participants while checking out of the hotel. The DSA is being provided to cover for such expenses.

  Electricity:

The electrical current in Fiji is 240 volts AC 50 Hz. Fiji has three pin power outlets identical to Australia and New Zealand. If your applications are 110v check for a 110/240v switch; if there is none you will need a voltage converter. Leading hotels and resorts offer universal outlets for 240v or 110v shavers, hair dryers, etc.

  Postal Service:

Post offices are open 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday except in Suva where it closes at 4:30pm.
