Guided Tour - Fifth Stop: Under the Drives

[fifth picture - part A]

[fifth picture - part B]

(In the top photo, we are looking in a hole on the right side of the computer, looking toward the front of the computer at the drives. In the second photo, we have crawled into the hole and are looking up at the drives.)

We can see more of the drives in these pictures. The drive on the bottom left (without any cables attached) is the 520MB drive in a 5.25" bay. You can see the J-shaped mounting brackets, along with the screws going through the bottom of the mounting tray. One screw is missing from the right mounting bracket, since the holes in the frame and bracket didn't align.

The bottom right drive is the other hard drive, in a 3.5" bay. The large drive at the top right is the CD-ROM drive. The floppy drive (upper right) is difficult to see from these positions.

This concludes the guided tour of my computer. Thank-you for visiting.
