What the Site Is About

This site is designed to help everyone associated with Pack 459 stay informed on current and upcoming events in the Pack. Contributions and comments are always welcome! Contact the webmaster to help us make this site more useful.

Technical Stuff

Screens are designed for viewing at a minimum 800 x 600 resolution. Use of Internet Explorer version 5.0 or better is recommended.

Pages are formatted for printing on standard 8.5 x 11 paper.

About Advertising, Ad Squares, and Safe Use

The site is hosted free of charge on Geocities/Yahoo (www.geocities.com). Free web sites are supported by required advertising we cannot control or prevent.

To keep advertising out of the way and simplify use for everyone, ads appear in a small, self-collapsing window called an "Ad Square" at the upper right corner of each page. When you load a page, the window will appear as shown below:

If you click just about anywhere inside the Ad Square, you may leave the Pack 459 web site and go to the advertiser's page or somewhere else we can't control.

Although typical ads appear to be safe and harmless, children using the Internet always should be supervised by responsible adults to prevent problems. We do not recommend that Scouts use Yahoo chat or any other chat service without responsible supervision.

You can close the Ad Square if necessary. To close the Ad Square, click the at its upper right corner. If the window is normal size and the doesn't appear, click the in the Ad Square's upper right corner to collapse the window, then click the at the upper right corner of the Ad Square.
