Today we added a few more things to the layer!

Most of our costumes arrived today. There are some pieces missing, but for the most part, are all here.  We also got to be acquainted with our dressers on either side of the stage.  I believe Jenny Wolf helps me with my first quick change from Rice Merchant to Cage Bearer at the right of the stage.  She was a great help.  I think we also discussed possibly starting with the black kurogo pants underneath the Rice Merchant's kimono will help facilitate this change...

My favorite, personal moment tonight was when, Alex, Michael and I were stage right and waiting for the panels to open up. We had stopped briefly so that the crew could work on the sliding panels some more, when I happened to look out at the house:

It was truly beautiful sight to behold, as the house sits, cradled in semi-darkness, with the golden glow of the amber aisle lights scattered through out. It was so breath-taking I believe I actually gasped in surprise....

Tonight we did more tech.
We ran through as much as we could tonight. Tech, of course, is for the technical aspect of the show. It is a very grueling, - albeit crucial - step in the process.

We were able to get as far as Chrysanthemum Tea, I believe, before we had to call it the night.
