We are all very tired today...

Well, maybe not all of us. But certainly the ones who stayed over at Eryn's sleep-over last night (or was it this morning?) must be dead tired.  Let's see ...that would be: Eryn, Erwin, Tony Nam, Nicole, Dana, Linda, David S (although he did borrow my pillows and went to sleep in one of the other rooms), Kevin, Alex, and Michael.  Still, I'm very glad I went since I had such a great time and got to know some of the cast very well.

It was a nice bonding experience.

We started today (early 10 am) with Richard (the fightmaster) and the kenjutsu sensei. At first the palanquin bearers (Alex, Kevin, Eddie and myself) were told to hang out while the "fighters" warmed up and practiced some kenjutsu.  However, not long after, Richard decided that we might as well join the rest of them so we can at least warm up and get some of the basic movements down. COOL!

We also reblocked some of the fights in the assassination scene. I now am killed by Nicole up right wing 2 and Alex now dies upstage right of center instead of running away. I believe this is so Eddie can be the one to run away since he has a quick change coming up...

For lunch, Linda, Rickey and I headed for University Avenue for some noodle soup at "Zhao's" restaurant. Yummy!
After lunch we did a few other quick things while we got ready for the second designer run thru.
Well, although the production staff had many notes for us today, they did mention that we had made a big difference from a week ago.
I think the worst feeling for me and some of the other ambassadors was when we screwed up the count before the group "Aaah detentes..." Billy says it's "don't touch the coat 2-3-4-1-ah-detentes..." but I think I got confused when he raised his baton and I just went for it and the rest of the number just fell apart and simply, absolutely sucked!.
Sorry Billy and Francis for letting you down there...
Oh yeah, I had dinner with Jefferson tonight at Willow Street Pizza in Westgate. I told him all about the show and he told me about...Oh, I don't know..."blah-blah-blah-something not about me...." lol
