Mega Man X7 (5/10)
Damn game pissed me off at first seeing as how it's the first 3D MMX game they'd have plenty of issues.

First thing would be the graphics, in the cutscenes they're ok not good just ok, throughout the game you'll notice lots of "Halfassed" work. During gameplay it's very diffcult to concentrate on what i should be looking because there are so many colors and movement. That shouldn't have been such a bad thing but you could tell it was poorly executed.

If you own or are lucky enough to rent a copy with the manuel look through it and you'll see this, "Since X's disappearance, the weakened Irrefular Hunters have been replaced by the Red Alert Syndicate." What the hell is an Irregular Hunter? I figure out that they mistranslated or possibly direct-translated Maverick Hunters. There are other parts in the story, which i choose not to spoil, that confuse me and piss me off because of it(the translation) being so half-assed.

The speed of the game is soooo...freakin slow. It might be because it's 3D but still come on now you could've sped up things for those of us with quick reflexes. A good example would be when I try using one of X or Axl's DNA weapons it takes forever to execute literally making the useless. The first three bosses I managed to defeat by a teamed effort or Zero/Axl or X/Zero's main weapons.

You still remember how I mentioned this game being half-assed? Well listen to the voices and you'll see they tried but...I'll grant them they did a good with X's voice, compared to X4 his voice is much much better. On other Zero voice doesn't suit him quite as well as X4. After playing X4 so much I heard that voice when I played X5 and X6 and I expected it to be that voice in X7. I'm actually over happy that they put in effort to get English voice actors. The Japanese Voice Actors tend to be better and that's actually what I have my copy set to.

Repetitive Repetitive Repetitive Repetitive Music. In the menus, during gameplay and even cutscenes. There are plenty of things you people could do like blast your own music or Mute your tv but it's up to you.

Now even with all these things I'm still having fun playing this game because I'm a fan of the Mega Man Universe so I tolerated all of those things enough to actually begin enjoying the game and that's the only reason I gave the game a 5/10. So once you get accustomed to the graphics, gameplay, music, etc it's an ok game it just COULD'VE been better.

Kill Bill Vol.1
This movie simply amazed, shocked and disturbed me.

It's been a long while since anything with such fantastic action music and utmost atmosphere has amazed me.
Pretty damn shocked to see women shown with power! I'm all for it in fact I applaud it. Hell yeah for women.
I was shocked by the level of intense action and fight sequences. Hot damn this sure any no calm picture. This movie gets A Mareso award from me.

Silent Hill 3
Excellent Video Game, much more than I expect but less than I wanted. I still consider Silent Hill to be the best in the series. Even with that said I was not dissappointed by this game. Graphics were very good slightly better than SH2. Being a game that focuses on light effects, the main character always carries a flashlight in his or her breast pocket, It's nice to see objects slowly glow and seem more realistic as the light passes over it. I actually recommend playing this game on the best TV you could. I was playing on a lowly 25 inch Admiral that I really should replace. Plot line being somewhat confusing at first but picks up quickly towards the end. Only complaint would be that I heard an echo whenever one of the characters spoke. I wish I could give this game a number but simply put this game is a freaky game that you should visit once, maybe twice.

Hootenany 2003 Sunday @ CSU Fullerton
So It was an all day concert pretty much worth my money since I paid 50$ for pretty much everything. There was no parking charge so that made me happy. Gates opened at 12PM(noon) and the first band to play was the Paladins on Main Stage 2.

Paladins: I can't say much about them because i didn't pay much attention which, actually says quite a bit about them. They weren't too much to my taste, too oft I thought: it would sound better with a faster tempo.
Hellbound Hellride: They were the reason why i wasn't paying too much attention to the Paladins. Fast paced and well played music but vocals were lacking a little.
Kingbees: I can't remember too much of them because I left HH to check them out but quickly returned. Basically they didn't grasp my attention.
Tex and the Horseheads: Oh my god...the vocals sucked ass, I could not understand that chick at all. I actually thought the music was cool but the vocalist killed it, it was live mind you so i might check them out later.
Deke Dickerson: Pretty good mix of country and rockabilly. Actually worth checking out more of their music.
Manic Hispanic: Pretty awesome, they were some crazy mofos. I actually liked their music because it was so fast paced and continued to play well. Again vocalist could've done better.
Nekromantix: Ok so here's a little history: my friends have been into this kind of music for the past year or more and i've heard the music at different times but never when i could've appreciated it. So I had my chance that day to listen to the Nekromantix. "Pretty fucking awesome" Awesome vocals except for backup which, could not be heard, music nice and fast, just how i like it. I'm actually listening to a few of their songs.
Lee Rocker: Sucks following up The Nekromantix but they ok i guess actually i didn't listen to them because we went to check out Mike Martt.
Mike Martt: Straight up country, it sounded to me, not a big thing but we only stuck around for a song or two and went back the main stages.
Dave Vanian: Was starting by the time we got to the stage and it sounded like he was famous already. Later I found out he's the lead singer for the Damned, a band i've only heard of. Pretty good nothing to really complain about overall nice.
Jesse Dayton: umm no...couldn't stand him i forget why...
Dave Alvin: Sorry forgot him...obviously not worth remembering for me...
Blazing Haley: They were aight. Not too bad but didn't hear anything that got me to move like into the pit.
Rocket from the Crypt: Another badass band, i liked their music pretty cool. Gonna for sure look them up later on.
Junior Brown: How about no? Didn't like them people began to get fed up with them because Little Richard was next and they already been in the sun all day. Good music just not for me.
Little Richard: Ahh yes...him. He was good I actually wished he headlined because well you'll see. Anywho I liked the intro song they played it made me think it'd be perfect for background music for one of my many videos that i've stopped making. Good music.
Social Distortion: Gosh man I remember seeing a video of their history and i thought they were punk. Maybe their old songs are but they played a bunch of new songs from an unreleased album. What I'm trying to say is I wanted faster music I was getting tired and sleepy i needed something to wake me up. Oh well what-cha gonna do? Oh yeah there were like two songs i got into really.

I had a blast gonna go next year too so watch out.
