Although I have come here to work for a year, I also intend to take full advantage of being in Europe. There are so many things to see here, and so many countries to visit. I have an aggressive plan to visit many different cities both within the U.K. and throughout Western Europe. I even have plans to venture into Eastern Europe if time permits.

December - I am on the eve of beginning my Christmas holiday journey to Greece, wherein I fly into Venice, spend the day there, and then take a 31 hour ferry trip to Patras on the west side of Greece. I will then take a 3 hour bus trip to finally end up in Athens sometime on December 22nd. On the way back I am hoping to catch a little more of Venice before landing back in England for term #2.

January - January should be interesting due to the fact that I have booked 3 seperate weekend trips to different countries. A local cheap airline had one of it's "free" weekends where you pay only the tax on your flight. I went a little crazy and booked trips to Stockholm, Brussels, and Glasgow. I'll keep you all posted!

February - At the end of February, we have another half-term break of a week off school. Owing once again to cheap airline connections, I will very likely be spending the half term in Milan and Paris. I know, I know life is rough!
