Spiderman, Spiderman became a port like any game can........

Spiderman is a well beloved character like Batman and Superman the love of the character from fans has sparked game after game to console systems over the years. Also, like the other caped crusaders the Spidey games were either  just bland or completely sucked very few were so enthralling that you just couldn't put it down with the possible exception of Spiderman for the sega cd but even it had some severe flaws. Fast forward away from consoles of yore to 2001 the Dreamcast has been out for nearly 2 years and there has been a Spiderman game on two of the three major consoles that are out at this time I guess Spidey got a well deserved rest but Activision and Neversoft makers of the exceptional Tony Hawk decided that it was time to get Spidey out of retirement and put him back in uniform. To handle the port they got the Treyarch Team to port the game to Dreamcast, Spidey's Back......this time in High-Res 3D.

The game starts off with a very nice intro of Doctor Otto Octavius (I.E. Doctor Octopus we all knew that though didn't we?) having a convention after getting out of jail and "going straight" he's decided to use his technology to benefit mankind instead of harming it (sure he is) suddenly during the show the new device Doc Ock plans on showing is stolen by a costumed person who looks quite a bit like our friendly neighborhood Spiderman.Of course Peter Parker is taking pictures out in the audience and watches the whole crime take place knowing he's gonna end up having to stop whomever is ruining his name, as well as Eddie Brock alter ego of Venom whom decides that he must stop the menace of Spiderman at the same time. The plots all the usual comic book fare as things go but that's part of the fun in the game and it's not all the game is made up of.
