Graphical Wrap-Up - After a strong start (73% after week 7), I only managed 3 weeks of winning two-thirds of my games, which I consider to be a minimum for a succesful season.

Sandbox Fantasy Football - This team had no weaknesses, but at the same time it lacked any superstars or break-out players. As a result, I was barely average.

CNN/Si Fantasy Football - This team was just average. The problem was, the site did not save the changes I made to my draft order. As a result, I got the default settings, which are horrible. If my rankings would have gotten through, I should have been one of the top 3 teams.

Yahoo Fantasy Football #1 - I was in 1st for most of the regular season, and I had a chance to finish first until I lost my final game. If I could have avoided a first-round upset, I possibly could have won the league since I had good games in the consolation rounds.

Yahoo Fantasy Football #2 - This team was solid in a very competitive league. The league champs were only 8-5-1, so I was only one-half game behind, along with 3 other teams. In all, 6 of 10 teams were in first or within one game. I feel like a typical year out of Eddie George would have won the league for me. I also lost Edgerrin James to injury.

Yahoo Fantasy Football #3 - I was 2nd in the regular season, but managed to win the playoffs. The keys to this team were the huge seasons for Terrell Owens and Ahman Green, along with another strong year from Donovan McNabb.

Yahoo Fantasy Football #4 - I won the regular season despite losing 2 of the last 4. In the playoffs, I lost the first round by only 4 points. Had I won, I would have easily won the championship because I outscored the champ by over 20 points in the championship week. This was a very good team that just had bad luck in the playoffs.

Graphical Wrap-Up

Sandbox Full Count Fantasy Baseball - I benefited from the surprising seasons of Carlos Beltran, Freddy Garcia, and John Burkett. However, it was off-set by down years from Troy Glaus, Edgardo Alfonzo, and Edgar Renteria. All around, this team was just ok..

CNN/Si Full Count Fantasy Baseball - I had great pitching with Mike Mussina, Javier Vazquez, and Barry Zito. My line-up was loaded with Sheffield, Sosa, Green, and Chipper Jones. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any break-out players that could have pushed me to the championship..

Yahoo Fantasy Baseball #1 (head-to-head, rotiserrie) - I finished 2nd in the regular season but made it pretty easily through the playoffs, including a 12-0 win in the championship game. Considering that the commish started the draft before I ranked my players, this is an impressive win..

Yahoo Fantasy Baseball #2 (private) - I was 3rd or 4th basically the entire season and never really contended. My pitching was respectable with Randy Johnson and Matt Morris. However, my hitting was mediocre except for Sammy Sosa and Juan Gonzalez. I also had to deal with injuries to J.D. Drew and Griffey..

Yahoo Fantasy Baseball #3 (private) - I setup this league with non-standard settings, so I knew going in what type of players to draft. As a result, I won handily even though it took me a long time to figure out McGwire and Damon were having bad years. Otherwise, this team was solid..

Yahoo Fantasy Baseball #4 (public) - I could not find much pitching in this league except for Freddy Garcia. My next 2 starters were Pettite and Milton, who are solid if unspectacular. My hitting was excellent, with Helton, Guerrero, Giles, and Floyd. I guess that just goes to show that pitching wins championships, right? (Joke)

MLB.com Fantasy Baseball (head-to-head, fantasy point) - I finished second in my division, even though I led the league in scoring by about 10%. However, I made it through the playoffs to take the overall crown. This league was extremely dead, so anything less than first would have been a disappointment..

Sandbox Fantasy Basketball 2000-01 - I consider this win to be a nice accomplishment. It was a very active league by Sandbox standards. Plus, it would probably be easier to list the players on my team who weren't injured for at least a few games this season. The break-out years of Dirk Nowitzki and Shawn Marion are what made this into a decisive victory. I was only in 2nd for a few days after the All-Star Break, and that was only because I budgeted my games more effectively than the other guy..

Yahoo Fantasy Basketball 2000-01 #1 (public) - This league was a nice comeback victory. A few players got out to a big lead because they wasted too many games early in the season. I started to narrow the gap during the last month and won by a decent margin. This was a good win..

Yahoo Fantasy Basketball 2000-01 #2 (private) - This team was just ok. I would have finished a little lower, but the Commish gave me some players to keep the league interesting. I had an outside shot at catching him, but it would have been a hollow victory anyway..

Yahoo Fantasy Basketball 2000-01 #3 (private) - This league essentially only had 2 teams, since only myself and one other owner took advantage of not having a game limit. I won somewhat handily because I evened out-played him by 50 games. I deserve some credit for being persistent, but that's about it..

Fox Sports Fantasy Basketball 2000-01 (mid-season, head-to-head) - How un-lucky was I? Let me count the ways.. 1. The league had 2 divisions. I had more points than everyone in the other division, but I was only 3rd in my own.. 2. I won my games by an average of 96 points but lost by an average of only 30. In other words, I didn't get big performances when I needed them.. The breaks just didn't go my way. Better luck next year..

Week-by-Week Graphical Wrap-Up - You can see how I rose from my mediocore start to peek at Week 13, then slightly slipped as the playoffs began..

Sandbox Fantasy Football 2000 - This league was true domination. Even though I only had a one game lead in the standings, I outscored the 2nd-best scoring team by nearly 200 and the 2nd-best team in record by over 350 points. Overall, I was ranked 2661 out of 663,886 entrants on Sandbox (99.6 percentile)..

CNN/Si Fantasy Football 2000 - After a slow start (2-2), I ran off 13 straight to close the season and easily have the best record (second place, 12-5). However, this win is slightly tainted. Some moron waived his entire team early in the season and apparently I was the only one to notice, so I got Eddie George and a couple other good players that slip my mind. I still think I would have won, considering my healthy leads in terms of points scored and record..

Yahoo Fantasy Football 2000 #1 - I basically sucked but used a late winning streak to make the consolation playoffs. I almost won the first round to set me up for the 5th/6th place game, and then I got dominated in the 7th/8th place game. My biggest problem was drafting Terrell Davis and Cade McNown, neither of whom did anything, even when healthy. In a 15-team league, having 2 highly-drafted dead-weights on your team puts you in the middle of the pack at best..

Yahoo Fantasy Football 2000 #2 - This league has 20 people, which led to alot of parity. Seven teams were either 8-4 or 7-5. I didn't really have any great players. My biggest mistake was making Cade McNown a high draft pick. With a better player, I probably could have gotten 2nd..

CBS Sportsline 2000 - I was definately the 2nd best team in the league, with a large margin in points over #3. Unfortunately, this league had 3 divisions and I was stuck with the clear #1, so I only got a wild card for the playoffs. I lost to the #1 in the first round and then just sucked it up in the 3rd place game..

Yahoo Fantasy Baseball 2000 (Full-season) - This is truly unbelievable. Going into the final day of the season, I'm tied for 1st. My hitters do horribly on that day, as has become the custom the last 2 weeks of the season. Still, my pitching has come up big and I've clinched all the categories. Now, the situation is this.. Top of the 9th, John Rocker on the mound, Jeff Cirillo at bat, 2 outs. A grounder to Chipper Jones. E-5. Up comes Todd Helton, who happens to be on my opponent's team. Two men on base, 2 strikes. Homerun. Helton collects 3 RBI for my opponent, which pushes him one above me in the RBI category and on to the league championship. Absolutely unbelievable.. I was in first place for all but 3 days basically since the All-Star Break. Unfortunately, one of those days was the one that counts..

Yahoo Fantasy Baseball 2000 (Mid-season) - A pretty easy win. I had a nice lead with about 2 months to play, then some guy decided to drop out and I got 3 high-quality players via trade, which basically clinched the league for me..

CNN/Si Fantasy Baseball 2000 - I got some huge pitching performances from Kevin Brown, Bartolo Colon, and Tim Hudson in the final week to stretch out a 100 point victory. This was a very dead league, and I picked up players such as Todd Jones, Hoffman, Alfonseca, and Nomar off waivers early in the season. I also added Tim Hudson and Barry Zito for the stretch drive to help fill all my pitching games..

Sandbox Fantasy Baseball 2000 - This turned out to be a pretty easy win after a slow start..

Fox Sports Basketball 1999-2000 (Mid-Season) - Basically, I lost because I didn't realize this mid-season league allowed far more games than were remaining on the NBA schedule at the time the league started..
