Have done 0-60KPH in 3 seconds, but normally more
sedately in 5 or 6 seconds.
Have done 0-100KPH in 5 seconds
and have done it once in less.

Hi Michael,
The 5 seconds was achieved by reving up to about 6500 before
letting out the clutch, and changing to 2nd at about 13,000,
and then again to third at about the same. Obviously from a
standing start and on the flat. And was not intended - I was
trying to not lose face to a much bigger Yamaha Virago, 1100
CC I believe. I've tried the same technique on the uphill entrances
to the freeway and the 100KPH takes between 6 and 8 seconds
depending on the gradient.
The less than 5 second time was downhill, and it was really
only just under 5. Maybe 4.75 or so.
On the open rode I've found that the Across cruises at 100KPH
at 8500RPM in 6th, and at 110KPH sits on about or just under
9300RPM. I've had it up to 130KPH (by accident) at which speed
it was a dream to ride.
