SINSP GUY JASON J REYES is a registered nurse by profession; he completed his Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Xavier University, Ateneo de Cagayan. During the time in his secondary education at Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive High School (MOGCHS) he obtained Loyalty Award and become recipient of the Leadership and Efficiency Awards. And successfully finished the advanced ROTC with the rank of Probationary 2Lt. at Camp Evangelista, Patag, Cagayan De Oro City.
SINSP GUY JASON J REYES commence his career in jail service in May 16, 1997 when he decided to join Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC) at Camp Bagong Diwa, BicutanTaguig, Metro Manila, as Jail Officer 1/trainee of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
Beginning in May 04, 1998 SINSP GUY JASON J REYES at age 23, joined the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) at Silang Cavite in his quest for self-advancement and enhancement of his preferred vocation. Beginning the period he become cadet of PNPA he reaped a considerable number of accolades that include “MEDALYA NG KASANAYAN and MEDALYA NG PAPURI”. Correspondingly, SINSP GUY JASON J REYES graduated top 8 among 225 Cadets of “Magilas” class 2000 in PNPA and a Plaque of Merit was accredited to him. In addition he earned KAMPILAN AWARD FOR LEADERSHIP, Certificate of Merit and further given five (5) commendations by Director General of PNPA.
In year 2003, his name become popular for once again, he was awarded “ “DISTRICT WARDEN OF THE YEAR “ and “DISTRICT JAIL OF THE YEAR” Regional Level. The Regional Director strongly endorsed SINSP GUY JASON J REYES for same award in the national level.
In 2005, among seventeen (17) participants in Region 10, he was selected as one (1) of the ten (10) nominee of the national level searched for 2005 PAGASA AWARD for outstanding work performance.
Further, following several months of intensive deliberation by BJMP selection Board for awards and recognition, finally SINSP GUY JASON J. REYES awarded the most prestigious “BEST CITY JAIL WARDEN OF THE YEAR 2006” national level dated July 07, 2006 during BJMP 15th Anniversary and the same award presented to him at regional level dated July 28, 2006 during RBJMP -10 15th Anniversary Celebration. Along with the awards obtained, he was given MEDALYA NG KASANAYAN (BJMP Efficiency Medal) by BJMP OIC, Chief Superintendent ANTONIO CABIL CRUZ dated 08 June 2006. He was also coveted “Presidential Leadership Award” and District Governor Special Certificate of Recognition by Rotary Club of Ozamiz North, Rotary International District 3850 dated 09 August 2006 for his exceptional leadership and outstanding service, commitment and loyalty to his profession being the 2005-2006 National City Warden Awardee of the year and a plaque of recognition from LGU’s for being awarded as Best City Warden of the year signed by Hon. Aldong Parojinog the Mayor of Ozamiz city. Nonetheless, through out the country SINSP GUY JASON REYES is the only one endorsed by BJMP Central Office Manila for Lingkod Bayan/Pag-Asa Award 2006. Recently, SINSP GUY JASON REYES has been awarded as one of the OUTSTANDING PILLARS OF JUSTICE OF THE PHILLIPPINES by the Rotary Club of Dilliman North in cooperation with Top Justice of the Philippines Foundation, Inc.
