FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Global AgendaQuote from site "GLOBAL AGENDA is a fast-paced action MMO using Unreal® Engine 3 set in Earth's near future, a spy-fi world of advanced technology and player-driven conflict."Referenceswww.globalagendagame.com a massive multiplayer online game (MMOG) The Sims, Two and Three and a little about second lifeA simulation of human life (or at least sim life)March, 2008 -- While the Sims games are and interesting and unique gaming experience, it does however have some draw backs:
The Sim game is obviously expanding and evolving into a better gameThe game the author experienced was the Sims 2 version; however the Sims 3 version allows your Sims to go outdoors and into the neighbourhood. Because of the possible wide range of ages that may play this game the designers will think very carefully before (and if) they choose to release a game that uses the interactivity of the internet. The idea of having other players interacting with you or your Sim characters might wreck the foundations the game depends on (a model of human life or at least sim life) that may not withstand the many real and varied agendas that a multiplayer environment might bring. The authors current view of the gameThe game should attract a lot more female gamers the male gamers. However, the current internet cafés do not always get it when it comes to female customers who often feel uncomfortable in such an environment. However the female customer can not be ignored forever by the internet cafés. The internet cafés will eventually find a way to cater to female customer demands. General assumptions about female internet café customers of various age segments will not be covered here. However large cities seem to have much more varied internet café types then small towns and are going to cater for more varied markets segments. The current Sims 2 and the future Sims 3 will, in most likelihood, not be suitable for the internet cafes since they are not aimed for this market. Eventually the Sim game might become a multiplayer game. Second Life does have aspects of a Sim game but it is not the same thing. The Sim game must eventually come out in a form that is multiplayer. We already have Second Life, but it is filled with real people and has a very different feel from the Sim game even though Second Life does allow its player to build houses, vehicles, various items and run businesses. The Sims might also be quite a useful model for role playing games that focus on the character rather then just simple combat. A war based game that individual characters of various types can form teams and use numerous vehicles. There is a very strong possibility that add on's or expansions will occur for this game. The maps are so huge so you can fly your jet fighter and have room to maneuver. Also the team groupings add a whole new dimension to the game. The game gives out rewards of medallions and ribbons as well as a rank based on what your character tends to do and the time you spent playing the game. As your character advances you will get weapon unlocks. Weapon unlocks give you the chance to use more specialized and powerful weapons. There is considerable debate on what weapon is best to unlock first. The current favorites are the sniper, medic, and engineer weapons. I personally unlocked the heavy machine gunners weapon first.
Battlefield 2142A classic game now set in the future.Wednesday August 23, 2006 -- The classic game of Battlefront has now been set in the distant future. There are a few new twists to the game play that are worth taking a look at. If you want to know more about this game, check out http://planetbattlefield.gamespy.com/bf2142/.
Team Fortress 2A well known game, Team Fortress 2 is the latest edition.Tuesday November 27, 2007 -- The well known game called team fortress has been carefully updated with characters that are designed to be easily recognized and team bases that are not only colored differently but styled in different ways. The red side has old style structures that contain contain wooden parts, this seems a natural type of home for the characters that are styled from the 1920's or 1940's (I do think the spy needs a make over session to get some real style from 007). The blue team has more industrial angular type structures. Gone are a few of the old features like there are no longer grenades so your character need no longer feel like it has been placed in a pop corn machine!
