We will be having a draw on a double size quilt, the winner to be drawn at the banquet. Tickets are one for $2.00 and three for $5.00. A suggested name for the quilt is "Spring Tulips". We hope to have pictures available at the entry booth, so you can see what it looks like. Tickets will be available from any of the executive.
We need you, the membership, to know that it is not just the executives who can get out there and put up the equipment for the next class. We need every able body at the show to help out. If you don't know what to do, don't worry, just ask and someone will give you the needed instructions to do the job. This includes the parents of the youth, or even the people who are participating in the classes. If you could help out with the setting up of even one class, that would be really appreciated. Thanks from the executive.
YOUTH
The new youth director is John Brooks 519-461-1341 or [email protected]. Once again High Street has donated $1000.00 to our youth. Check the youth page for the results of the Youth Team Tournament. I think the our youth did a great job and I hope they enjoyed themselves as well.
Oxford Trail Riders' shows are over for the 2008 show year. Hope to see everyone at the trail ride at Marg and Max's on October 5th and the banquet on November 1st at the CAW hall in Ingersoll. See any of the executive for tickets.
Orwell Community Trail Riders' last show date is Sunday, September 7th at the Alymer fairgrounds.
Big Creek Saddle Club's last show date is Sunday, September 14th. All shows are at the Paris fairgrounds, starting at 8 a.m.
Goshen Ridge Equine Association of Tillsonburg's last show date is Sunday, September 14th. They will be held at Bell Mill Road, south of Hwy #3. Contact Tony Tate 519-842-3867, Ron 519-842-8141 or Darren 519-842-4715.
Rusty Gaits' last show date is Sunday, September 21st, raindate is Sunday, September 28th at the Alymer fairgrounds.
Zone One Arabian Horse Club's last show date is Sunday, September 14th. They start at 9 a.m. at the Dorchester fairgrounds.
