| Hufflepuff Happenings
John Chang As Professor Lockhart returned to the wonderful house of Hufflepuff all was happy. We all fooled around and already he stole Natalie Corvin's bed. On other notes we all have been working hard with our points. As we are in last place lots of work has been going on. A student who joined just yesterday has already earned at least 500 points. As usual posts are shooting into the topics. That�s all for this month�s Hufflepuff Happenings. |

| Yule Ball Royalty
By: A Hufflepuff Earlier this month, when we were asked to select a Yule King and Yule Queen � in Hufflepuff, these two individuals ended up being Emmett Cullen and Hazel Woods; two very interesting and friendly people. Emmett is one of the newest additions to Hufflepuff house, and was very happy to be chosen as the representative, something that he did not feel that he would be voted for because he was so new to the house however; he made a good impression on his housemates, and was chosen regardless of his newness. Hazel Woods was voted as Queen � Hazel is a first year in Hufflepuff house and through her short time here at Hogwarts, she was chosen as Prefect Assistant, and was very honored and surprised to be chosen as Queen. Hopefully, at next term�s Yule Ball, we will choose another King and Queen, as it was very fun, and gives a chance for a couple of really outstanding individuals to be recognized. |

| Slytherin House Clubs
By: Samual Sim Slytherin offers many different types of clubs to the students in its house. Some people many prefer a homework study group, or a secret society. Whatever your tastes, Slytherin has it. Samual Sim has recently started a club that�s helps students with homework, other things (not mentioned for security reasons). There has been a tradition in Slytherin for many years all the Slytherin Secret Society it�s activates too are also kept secret for reasons unknown. One of our newer members of the house Blair VanDurten started a group called the Slytherin Sprit Club that shows its sprit everyday. Blair is a wonderful graphic member who offers her services for her club. The last club I would like to mention is the Slytherin Salutation Society who welcomes all new members to the house. They all welcome me when I became a member of the house nearly a month ago. |

| Slytherin of the Month Beonca Aims Man it hard to say as many in the house deserve the honor, thank Merlin there are 12 months in a year! This month we are honoring Lucas Alexander! Skittle King Extrardinre! Lucas came into the snake house ready to be a big part of the house. Not long after he joined the TSSS and other house happenings, he's a huge spammer and I don't mean that in a wasteful way. Lucas came to our first Quidditch game and had a slight accident,or that is what we are claiming anyway, with his errand Skittles flying around on the field causing some confusion. Ever the jokster in the common room, we can always count on Lucas to make us laugh at not only ourselves but at everyone eles! |
| The Romainian Trip Trench-coated Snake with shades and whispering Can't tell you too much, but the 'TSSS' has taken almost everyone in the common room on a trip. Professor Snape provided the portkey, a simulated dead porcupin, and off the large group went. There was a vote as to where to go, but being the house has many 'vampires' and half vamps, Disneyland was out voted. LOL So the trip was planned and we are currently in a pretty shady pub, but fear not, we have protection and some great guides...and that's all I saying...for now. |

| Paddington Piece
By Katie Sawyer For the month of January in the land of the polar bears we're celebrating two birthdays! The first is Matt Driscol's whose birthday is on January 3rd. The second is Angel McCartney , who's birthday is also on January 3rd. Happy Birthday to both of you! May all your birthday dreams come true!! Other top news stories from the arctic abyss are: - Jenii Chang has returned! Jenii was one of our founding members & our former Senior Prefect who's Muggle life caused her to vanish from our midst in early Fall. We're happy to have you back, Jenii! - Paddington would like to welcome its newest members Josie, Caroline, Lexine, Chris, Angel, Apolline, Jacqueline, Emilia, Michelle, & Fabian! It's great to have you among us, guys! - Yaxley Chambers has taken on the role of Senior Prefect! Yaxley was a former Paddington Prefect that stepped down in early Fall due to his crazy Muggle life, but is now back & plugging away on the staff once again. Congrats, Yax! - The Polar Padfoots are gearing up for their next Quidditch match against Ravenclaw's Choas Claws!! There's a lot of excitement in the air for the upcoming game & we're organizing our first ever Cheer Team! - Everyone in Paddington's been getting ready for the Yule Ball & our own house's Secret Santa party! It's really a wonderful time of the year, don'tcha think? |
