Favorite Christmas Presents of the Past
Billy Raven
I asked around the common room to see what was one of your favorite Christmas presents?, here are a few replies.
Shalamar Magoo:
One of my most memorable gifts at Christmas would have to be, 3 years ago, my now ex boyfriend put together something great. It was a black photo frame with purple silk in the background (because purple is my fav colour) with a silver heart pendant on a chain put on display. On the heart was the date we had gotten together.
It was really romantic. Pity he turned out to be an idiot in the end
My point really was though, that homemade is the best Shows someone put thought, time and love into the gift.

Amanda:
I honestly think my favorite gift was my first bra, because I was only about 12 and I was so embarrassed by it because I opened it up in front of me. Also, my aunt/godmother bought it for me. She recently passed, so it's a good memory of her.

Matilda Maxwell:
My most memorable Christmas present would have to be my first bike. I was around four years old. It was pink and white and had a little white basket on the front. It was so adorable and I loved it! I would put my teddy in the basket and ride around, so that it wouldn't feel left out

Faith Puppy:
Hmm... I generally don't remember my presents, but the one I liked the most are one of those angel collections ... I think that's what they're called.
But I got a few from a family friend's. He and I were close friends, but now we kinda drifted apart. Unfortunately his mother had a brain tumor and died afterwards =[
I miss her, but I still have the presents to remind me off her.

Makayla Malfoy:
I have a few...one of them was my digital camera. I love taking pictures and when i got the camera i was excited it went every where with me!!

Another one was awhile back I think I might of been 12 Im not sure but i got my first stereo for my room with a CD player, i still have it to this day.
Last year i got a DVD player with it's own little thing to switch my shows to HD when it comes time for that
Another one is when I was like 11 I got my first cell phone, it was prepaid but i loved it!! It ran out of minutes fast though because I got sick the week after Christmas (that usually always happens around Christmas I get sick for a week) and I texted my friends the whole time i stayed home.
Also when I was in like 6th grade i was a huge fan of Spice Girls!! I got all 5 Barbie members and a Spice Girl purse. I also got Spice World the movie

Also, not sure if other girls were into it, but the American girl dolls they are dolls from all different time periods. You got the clothes they wore back then to put on your dolls and books. I got the one from the 1900s she was my favorite her name was Samantha. I also got one that looked at me, you could customize them they were called the dolls of today, and they also had Bitty Baby. I loved all three dolls and played with them like 24-7.

Oh and Doodle Bear!!!!!!!!!!!! i loved doodle bear!!!!!!!!

Professor Ripley:
Me? Gosh, when I was young, a baby doll and a stroller was the prize present! I loved that stroller and would stuff it with all my dolls and walk about pushing it everywhere! When I got older, being such a tomboy and into weird things, I got a chemistry set with a microscope!! I was looking at fingernails, lizard skin, bugs, man I loved that microscope! And the chem. set was way cool too, I made crystals and smoking things, can't remember it all, but I know I had a blast!

Barbie dolls were always a rage with me and my five sisters and when the first Ken dolls came out, I can't remember which of us got him, but he had a large group of Barbies to date! When the Cabbage Patch dolls came out, I was already older, but wanted a baby one anyway, mom got it for me and then later made all these great outfits for the little thing. She was quite the sewer!

Ah, man....Christmas is such a wonderfully magical time of year, especially when you're a kid!
