I got to interview Penshire's HOH Profesor Ripley and her plans for Valentines Day. Here is what she had to say.
R: What are your plans for valentines day?
PR: Build a fire in the wood stove, light some candles and cook a roast.
R: Do you have anyone special you are spending it with?
PR: Yes, my husband who deserves to kick back and relax for the day! I also will give him a homemade card with personal sentiments.
R: What is your favorite valentines memory?
PR: When I was working in this company in California, I spent a week hand-sewing this little red felt hearts stuffing them with their own scraps. Then I would sew a little colorful button and put a clasp on the back so they could be worn. On Valentine's Day, I went to work and just passed them out to everyone! I made A LOT! It was a lot of fun and funny to see everyone walking around wearing them!
Sounds like Professor Ripley is going to have fun. I hope everyone has a happy Valentines Day.

1. When did you come to Penshire? I came to Penshire in early august of 2007 .
2.What is it that you most like about Penshire? If I had to choose one thing it would be my housemates! I mean just think if I was in Ravenclaw (No offense to Ravenclaw) I wouldn't know half of the people here in Penshire! I wouldn't be able to chat with Bry, RP with Faith, or poke Amanda in the poke-a-thon game!
3. What is the Penshire Crane Spirit Club? Well PCSC is basically, well a club that spreads house spirit!
4. Who founded this club? Well a few months back I had the idea of it, so I sent a few PMS to Makayla Malfoy who agreed to be the VP so I guess we did!
5. You are the President, how does that make you feel? Well.... It makes me feel good that I'm one of the larger contributors to house spirit!
6. What exactly does the PCSC do? So far we've been planning events, in November we had a Spam-a-thon and our house spirit RPG party started today! I'm currently planning another event I wont give away to much but lets just say it will boost house spirit and house points!

I got a chance to interview a much liked Penshire student: Andromeda Tonks-Black!
KA: How natural is you�re hair color?
ATB: My violet hair is not natural at all, I magically colored it when I was about ten, at the school I went to before Hogwarts, I really didn't know many people, so I decided that turning my hair purple would be a rather nice icebreaker
KA: Where do you like to hang out in Hogwarts?
ATB: My favorite place to hang out at Hogwarts is under the big tree after the doors, its kinda near the lake, and gives great shade, and I always meet my friends from other houses there.
KA: How long have you been at Hogwarts?
ATB: I have been at Hogwarts for two years, I love it dearly!
KA: Do you play any instruments?
ATB: I've always wanted to play the guitar but was always too lazy to take it up. I do know how to play the violin pretty well, my mom made me take it up when I was little.

I was fortunate to sit down with Hogwart�s most beloved teacher, Professor Lockhart. After several hours of him talking about how wonderful he is, I finally managed to get these tidbits out of him! I think you will agree that three hours of my life and the $200 interview fee charged was well worth the article!!
What do you think of Valentine�s Day? "I think its a great time of year, it gives my fans one true day of the year where they can truly show their love and devoting to me, Gilderoy Lockhart, worlds best author and winner of witch weeklys best smile award"
Do you have any special plans? "Of course Gilderoy Lockhart has plans on Valentines Day! After all he is the best looking Professor at Hogwarts for a reason!"
What would the perfect gift on V-day be for you to receive? "A Mirror or any high valued hair product"
What will you be giving this year ? "Many copies of my signed autobiography. You can also buy this from Flourish and Blotts or any high profiled book store for a very good value of 16 galleons!"
Any special love interest? "Well I would say that this Professor is never short of dates, however in comparison to the beauty and mind of Gilderoy Lockhart no one can compare to me *fixes hair and poses with a smile*"
