| Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows
By Ava Black Well the book has been released. Most on our site will know Harrys fate! I myself went to a midnight release party to get my hands on the book as soon as possible. In fact I was one of the first 25 in the entire store to get one. I got my book and I felt so excited finally I would know all the answers to those theoretical questions that plagued me since Half-blood Prince. Then I went home and poured over the book reading every word. Waiting for the things I need to know to be resolved. I wont tell you how it ends. I will just tell you to rush out and buy that book already! Did I get all the answers I wanted no, but did I get most of the answers yes!! Ok that is all I am going to say! Read it for yourself!!! |
| Bertie Botts unhealthy?
By Ronald Weasley A recent study last month had concluded that Bertie Botts every flavor Beans turned out to be dangerous for your health. The study showed that the beans were made of so much sugar and fat that they seemed to be making millions of wizard kids obese. The Department of Health has said that by next Tuesday, every single pouch of Bertie Botts will be taking out of every wizard store in the world. Many wizarding families were seen walking around the Department of Health protesting. They were saying to keep Bertie beans in store for the sake of our children. The D.O.H. decided after many days of protesting to allow Bertie Botts to be sold in stores that theyd give them what they want. The D.O.H warned many wizard dentists to be filling many cavities in the next few months. |

Troll Escapes London Zoo
By Ronald Weasley A troll was found missing Sunday morning with hardly any traces left behind. Only an open cage door with the lock broken was found. The manager of the London Zoo questioned the night guard who was responsible for watching over the troll at night. The guard claimed that the troll grabbed hold of his neck and pounded his head against the lock on the cage until it broke open. He then stated that the troll left his body for the dead. The manager found this to be very fishy. He made the guard take a lie detector test and the guard was proven to be making the whole story up. The manager afterwards fired the guard. The manager has now offered a 50,000 galleon reward for anyone who so finds the troll. He claims that the troll is harmless but is pretty hard to miss. After all its at least 400 feet tall. |
| New Outside magic age?
By Ronald Weasley The Ministry of Magic (M.O.M) had noticed that there seem to be more and more accidents occurring with teens that are old enough to perform magic outside of Hogwarts School. Last month was noted that there were very few accidents (2 fatal), and several accidents that just mightve sprained a bone or two. But this month has been noted that teens seem to be more careless with spells and try to do stupid things with spells that they know will end up hurting them or in some cases killing them. M.O.M started planning just last week that maybe they need to reconsider changing the outside magic use age from 17 years old to 21 years old. Theyve noticed that the adults seem to be more responsible with magic then the irresponsible teenagers. M.O.M has not changed the age yet, but they said that they will come to a decision by mid-August. |
| Gringotts Robber Nabbed
By Ronald Weasley After several robbing at Gringotts for the past five nights in a row, the robber was finally caught. The robber had stolen more the 50,000,000 galleons from over 40 accounts. A local police officer (off duty) was going to his account when he heard a nearby goblin shout Help. Help. Robber on the loose. The officer quickly sprang into action and shortly after the robber was caught and all the money he stole was safely returned to the rightful accounts. Luckily no one was hurt cause after the robber was caught, he had his wand ready and was about to curse the goblin that screamed for help, but thankfully the police officer stunned him with his own wand. The robber is said to be sent to Azkaban for nearly the rest of his life and possibly get the death sentence if necessary. |
| Teen prank gone wrong
By Ronald Weasley Two local boys were found by many local wizarding residents stalking around the Riddle Estate. The local townspeople thought nothing of it and continued their evening. The ,local boys snuck around the back of the house and tried to put a spell on the house to make it move, but the spell went horribly wrong. Instead of the house moving, a large poltergeist popped out of the chimney and chased the boys down many streets. Many Muggles, who couldnt see the poltergeist, only saw two local teenage boys running down the streets screaming and being beaten with many inanimate objects like an old shoe or a frying pan. Only wizards could see the poltergeist. Maybe thisll be a lesson to those boys not to play pranks on houses. Especially the Riddles house. |
| Missing: Giant Squid
By Luna Lovegood of Ravenclaw The Giant Squid that had previously been living in the Black Lake at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has gone missing. The mermaids from the lake have recently told some of the students who speak mermish, the language of mermaids. These select students have been trying to spread this news, and they've been successful. One mermish-speaking student, Gawyn Crossguard, has said to anyone who would listen: "It's gone! I can't believe it! Mane (a mermaid) has just told me! The Giant Squid, it's missing!" An average reply to this is: "Yea! Right! Someone just levitated a giant squid out of the lake without anyone noticing." Then they walk away. "I believe you," said one Lilac Dezzy when she was told of this. "Maybe someone placed an invisibility spell on it," she suggested and left in wonder. If you have any information leading to this disappearance, please inform the Ministry of Magic, Department of Magical Creatures. There is a one-hundred galleon reward for any information leading to this odd disappearance. |
| Predictions run wild at Hogwarts
By Evan Bishop With the seventh and final Harry Potter book arriving on Saturday, theories have begun to run rampant at Hogwarts. Students can be seen discussing the possibilities of who may die and who may get together during their free time. The most popular of conversations seem to have set on the discussion of Voldemorts Horcruxes. Many are conversing of the different Horcruxes and what they might possibly be. The question that has been brought up and that has been argued the most as of now is the possibility of Harry himself being a Horcrux. As no one truly knows how to make it a Horcrux, no one will know for sure until the book is released. However, many students believe that the connection between Voldemort and Harry is from the transfer of Voldemorts soul the night he had tried to kill the Potters. What better way to make a Horcrux than from the death of the child that has the power to kill you? It explains why Harry is able to see through the eyes of the dark lord such as when he viewed Arthur Weasleys attack through the eyes of Nagini. No one knows the true plot of the novel but one thing is for sure, the world with go wild now that the series is over. Only question now is, will it be worth it? |

New Chamber of Secrets?
By Viktor Rumors had risen of late that a mysterious "beast" is prowling the castle. Some students have reported of hearing weird "hissing" sounds. This reminds of the older case of the Chamber of Secrets containing a legendary beast that roams the castle. "It could be anything...we don't know. I was down at the dungeons when I heard this weird hissing sound from all around me but I saw nothing...Lee Jackson, a Hogwarts student reported. The Hogwarts Staff were unavailable for any comments and rumors have been strife that there could be another "Secret" chamber in the castle or it could be just some mere prank to scare the daylights out of student. Whatever it had been it certainly had brought about many questions raised about the pets allowed in the castle by many worried parents who think that stricter measures should be placed on the pets brought into the castle. |
