| CAUGHT! Hufflepuff Vaughan, a new student who recently joined Hogwarts has really left her mark in Hufflepuff. Most of our new students register and hardly ever post around. But Vaughan has been posting around the CR like crazy, making sure she�s well known. Even though she�s brand new, she sure doesn�t act like most of the other new ones. Maya Parker. What can we say about her. Maya is continuously trying to help the house out any way she can and is definitely not a shy person for sure. Maya really likes to be well known and isn�t afraid of what people will think of her. She isn�t tense one bit, but likes to let loose and have fun and makes everyone else have fun with her. But sometimes, she can have a little too much fun, like changing people avatars. *cough*RON*cough*. Ravenclaw This month, Olive Snitzberry has been caught helping out tremendously with the Easter Dance, and always so eager to help out in any way possible. She contributed by recording and editing the Bunny song, which could have been heard on the Easter Dance page. Joe Nworb has also been caught rushing off everywhere, only to fulfill his great ideas! They include the Ravenclaw Mall, which shall be open very soon, and PAD�s Olympics, which has been introduced already. A talented Raven and brilliant brainstormer, what will he think of next? Slytherin Eltanin Weymess has been caught being an awesome and dedicated Slytherin! Tani has been seen sharing ideas, encouraging others and working hard for his house. He has been a part of Slytherin for 6 months now and from the start he hit the ground running and hasn't looked back. Even with a demanding muggle life, he always finds time for his fellow snakes and to do his part to help out, anyway that he can. You rock Tani! As most everyone knows, Tom Riddle has re-joined his home in Slytherin and has become quite active and popular. He is regularly seen playing games, chatting and hanging out with the students in his house, as well as having his very own fan club dedicated to him. Like Tani, Tom also has a demanding muggle life, but still finds time to help his house. His hard work is greatly appreciated and Slytherin wouldn't be the same without him! Penshire Piper Frost has been caught in a frenzy of posting and point-earning around the Penshire common room! Though she's only just joined, Piper has proved herself already to be an invaluable asset to the house, keeping it alive by posting nonstop in the games, joining RPGs, and jumping right in some of the different clubs around here at Hogwarts. Great job, Piper, and happy birthday as well!! We couldn't go all this time without recognizing Ava Black, who's been caught for Penshire this month. Ava has worked tremendously hard all year through, taking on more responsibilites than even her title of Head Girl require. She's always there if someone needs a hand or has a question, is constantly coming up with new ideas, and just generally helps keep everything running smoothly. Thanks, Ava, and keep it up! |
| Egg Hunt
! By Ava Black Hogwarts annual Egg Hunt was another great success this year. Thirty eggs were hidden around the castle, grounds and Annex building. Students grabbed paper and quill and set off to find the multi-colored eggs. The stakes were high!! Each correct answer was worth twenty-five house points. The whole thing was worth a whopping 750 points!!! Each house turned in a ton of entries and the HoH�s graded their house�s entries. Students were excited and enjoyed the wonderful event. |
| Registration Closed
By Ava Black Term is coming to an end and registration is closed for this term. For new students there is no need to worry!! It is simply the end of the school year and time for the House Cup to be announced. Registration will re-open in August for the next term. Can�t wait until then? Well, Summer Club and possibly summer classes will open after the term ends. So look on the Bulletin Board for more information. |
| What�s going on at Hogwarts?
Written by none other then Ron Weasley Many amazing things have been happening in Hogwarts so far this month. Here�s your first and last chance to recall all the happy memories from these events. But, if these don�t bring back good memories, well then, you better read the article below this. First off, Ravenclaw hosted an Easter Dance. The dance also included a couple contests such as coloring pages, Secondly, the Easter egg hunt. There were 30 eggs hidden around the school during Easter. Each egg a student found would give them 25 points. If a student found all 30 eggs, well then, they�d get a whopping 750 points. That really could help out their house dramatically. And thirdly, many pranks went on around the school on April 1st. One prank included Prof. Snape saying that he was leaving Hogwarts for good. Another prank was Penshire changed all their avis on the bulletin board to look like Prof. Snape�s avi. And the greatest prank of all was when PAD changed the link for the OG. Instead of reading a paper, a website popped up with a clip of Prof. Snape singing, �I�m too sexy for my shirt.� |

| Aliens Spotted at Hogwarts!!!!
By Ronald Weasley Late on Tuesday evening, Hogwarts students reported seeing a UFO in the sky, hovering towards Hogwarts around 1:00 am. Not many students saw this, but the ones that did, reported to the Hospital Wing and stated that they were seeing things and needed to recuperate. Some students though were brave enough to watch the UFO land on the grounds near the lake and little green people hop out of the UFO. The aliens were reported to enter the castle by cutting a door on the side of the wall with a laser gun. They then were seen walking down the halls and then entered into Professor Lockhart�s dorm. The curious students listened intently to hear what was going on in his dorm. �We must request to take a large portion of his hair care products.� One alien said. �Yes. I�m sure, our brother won�t mind giving up some of his products to us.� Another one said. �I agree. I can�t take anymore of waking up to bed head, and not have shampoo to straighten my hair.� The third alien said. �We would have more hair products, if Zork over there didn�t use all of it on his French Poodle.� The first alien hissed angrily. �What? I thought he would look good with spiky hair.� The second said. Then there was a moment of silence. A few minutes later, there was faint mumbling. Then there was a bunch of shouting. It almost sounded like Lockhart bragging about his amazing hair yet again. As if it�s bad enough that students at Hogwarts have to put up with his constant bragging. After about ten minutes of bragging, the aliens came out with their hands full of hair care products. The products ranged from bed head, to spiked hair, to Mohawks. The aliens whispered happily to themselves as they walked down the halls back to their spaceship. All of this lasted about twenty minutes, and those twenty minutes were the most bizarre moments in the students lives. Students will never look at Lockhart the same way again. |

| �Student Council Position Cursed�
Continued from last issue� By Zoey Taylor As you may remember, last issue I wrote an article giving my opinion on how I think the Hufflepuff student council position is cursed, sort of like the Position of DADA professor in the books. When I wrote last month�s article we were in the process of finding a new representative, and it turned out to be none other than Kamron Flame. Well now, adding to the evidence that my theory is in fact true, he�s emailed some of our housemates to let us know that he�s suddenly started having some pretty bad computer problems and that there is a good possibility that he wont be around much for a while. As it stands right now he still holds his position as we wait to see what�s going to happen. We are all hoping that he will make it back to us soon as he�s a big part of our house now, but if something happens and he isn�t able to I don�t know how we are going to be able to convince anyone to take on the job. |
