This Quidditch season seems to be quite a lively one for the Chaos Claws. So many changes have been made to the team roster since the first match. But as we were preparing for our match against the Hufflepuffs, there were even more changes!
Andela Schmorgie, who was originally cast as one of the chasers, had missed out our first match, and for the second match, she played as seeker, and finally, for this match, she gets to play the position that she was supposed to be.
Myrrima Goldenleaf, former co-captain and keeper of the Chaos Claws has returned! She now takes the role of keeper and will certainly guard the Ravenclaw hoops well.
Amber Thatcher and Hagrid Black have joined the team to be reserves, and both are playing in this match as seeker and beater respectively. Our star beater, Will Potter, had unfortunately been injured during our practice and cannot play.
And yours truly will now be playing as chaser, a position that I have played last season as well.

Although the Chaos Claws are playing two matches in a row, we still expect changes to the roster before our last match between the Cranes, which I am certainly looking forward to. ^_^
The quidditch season is coming to a close. The last match of the season will be played on the 25th of May. There are only three games left! The last three games will be Hufflepuff vs. Ravenclaw, Ravenclaw vs. Penshire, and Gryffindor vs. Hufflepuff. Good luck to all four of those teams! The Silver Serpents just finished their season with only one loss and three wins! I can't wait until next season but I also can't wait to see who wins the Quidditch Cup. Here are the current standings. Slytherin has one loss and three wins. The Cranes have three wins and zero losses. Will they lose their last game against Ravenclaw? I wonder. Ravenclaw have lost their first two games but still have two more games to play. Anything could happen. Gryffindor has won one game and lost two games. They still have to face Hufflepuff in the last quidditch match of the season. Lastly, the badgers have lost two games and still have two games left to play. Who will win the Quidditch Cup? Nobody knows for sure.

Slytherin just finished their last Quidditch Match of the season against the house of Gryffindor. The Serpents were riled up before the match began wanting to go out with a �Bang� against their rival house, and it seemed that all of the Serpents players showed up with the intention of winning the match. On the field for Slytherin this match were: Jennifer Kull, Jenii Chang, Kiley Blaire, Linda Danes, Kato Nahilus, Lucio Arroyo Ramirez, Jess Dark Wing and Seraphina Rosehill. They each played their heart out and gave the fans a good show. I can�t wait to see what wonderful things will come from the Serpents again, next season.

It�s that time again, spring is in the air and many will be donning their Easter bonnets. The high fashion for this year is the basic straw hat decorated up per house colors and icons. So, let�s take a look at some of the samples.
Slytherins will be donning a large brimmed hat, as many dislike the sun, or being in the bright light. Tied around the dome is a huge black ribbon, though some mistake this for dark green, with a silver edging, tied into a huge bow. Artistically displayed on the brim are dark green roses mixed with silver-white babies breathe. If you look close enough, you might spot a small green snake lying among the roses napping.
Gryffindors will be sporting a smaller brimmed hat, as they don�t mind the sun, and it has three small red ribbons festooning it all tied in various places and dangling down different sides. On top of these ribbons are added another three, only they are gold. The Gryffindors like dangles. Their flower of choice is the golden daffodils which are artfully placed on the brim, and mixed with ferns for an added color effect.
Hufflepuffs will be wearing and medium sized brim hat with a very large yellow and black checked ribbon. Huge bright yellow carnations nearly take over the hat mixed with small black roses. It�s a wonder anyone could sport this weighty creation, with its stuffed badger head coming out the top of the dome!
Ravenclaws have picked a smaller brimmed hat and with their blue and gold checked ribbon, this one looks a bit understated compared to the others. But this is deceiving for on closer examination, one then notices the small True-forget-me-nots mixed with the delicate babies breathe, then again, one could not miss the beautiful large raven feather sticking out the brim leaning towards the back.
Penshires, being the �creative� ones, certainly came up with something different, if not a bit overdone. They, like Slytherin, choose the large brim; I am assuming it is to fit everything they have on it. The ribbon around the dome is an average size and of course the house colors, teal and the edges a sort of brassy color, and tied nicely. All along the brim are hundreds of small white origami cranes in various poses as if taking off to fly or capturing prey. Sticking from the ribbon, like a feather would, is a paint brush, quill, and color pencil�interesting.
So, you see, the bonnets are certainly interesting this year, wonder what the staff will be sporting!

I always enjoy looking at everyone�s avatars. Many go to the most popular source, Professor Opal�s Avatars, and well done they are and quite popular, as they should be. However, many students make there own, have shops offering ones they made, or find their own out there on the web. And that is what�s so neat about PAD�s, you can have an avatar you uploaded, made yourself, or by someone else!
My avatar? I used to have one from a doll site, oh sure, and I liked it, until someone else showed up with one nearly the same as mind. So I began my search, this was before POA was in existence. During this time, Professor Ripley was making her �In the Hall� cartoons in the Owl Gazette, they were made by RPGs she found and thought would be funny and make good cartoons. One she was doing was of Stella Diggory and me in trouble with Professor Snape. I LOVED how she drew me, so I ask her if she would make it bigger so I could use it for my avatar, and she did! I colored it, and haven�t changed it since, though I did ask her if she could make me in a Hogwart�s uniform�still waiting. *innocent*

I was checking out the siggy maker on the site & discovered they had lots of dolly makers so I tried a couple out & thought this dolly was really cute.
2.) Do you think having one not done by Professor Opal makes you stand out? No, not really. I know a lot of peeps have avatars from Prof. Opal, but I know a lot have 'em from other places, too.
3.) How often do you change it? (If you do.) When I first got here I changed it a lot, like every couple weeks, until I finally got one that I liked a lot. I will probably change it again eventually, but I don't do it routinely or anything.

~I'm not totally sure. I guess I liked it because it doesn't seem like an intimidating face, and it was something I could work with to show a bit of my personality.

~A little bit, but not a lot. I think the only thing that makes it stand out is the fact that I am making it with my own style of art so that it is a little different, and I'm trying to do something that Professor Opal is outstanding at, so that probably makes it stand out.

~ Depends on my mood. Sometimes I won't change my avatar for months and months, but lately I've been changing it every couple of weeks.
