Although it seems it�s been a bit slow in the house this month we�ve really had a lot going on. Most everyone has been out really working hard to earn points and its showing as we�ve finally pulled into second place for the moment! We�ve also had all of the girls dorms changed around, now instead of having bunches of them we have about six with most having about eight girls each in them. I�m still not sure exactly how it�s going to work out but I look forward to getting to know my new dorm mates better. We have also had several new games started in the CR� one in particular involves what everyone in the house does with my co-prefect, Ron. I have to say I enjoy reading that one. And our quidditch team has been busy getting ready for our upcoming game against Ravenclaw. Good luck!

This week has been a quiet week for Hufflepuff, not many hook ups have reached the high profile status but there has been rumours flying around about Zoey Taylor and a certain Kamron Flame. This has not actually been confirmed but in a quick interview with Zoey Taylor she had this to say �NO COMMENT� Obviously hiding something I see. Another un-confirmed hook up is our very own Katlin Sawyer and Ron Weasley, both have been spotted together in many occasions and both seem to be like shadows of each other. Our last Hufflepuff Hook up this month of Elizabeth Crow and Dakota Tallfeather. Both went MIA for a weekend and both have returned at the same time with very varied excuses, this reporter best bet was that they have spent the weekend at Professor Lockhart�s book signing at Flourish and Blott�s where they shared a soda from the Leaky Cauldron.

This month we Huffies would like to announce that our Badger Point Brawl was such a huge success last month that we've decided to have a 3-week point brawl every month! The winner each month is going to get 25 galleons & their name mentioned in the OG. This is quite an incentive & will hopefully help our house reach our goal of winning the House Cup this term! We're still working on our Dance Fever theme but I believe we have it narrowed down to 2 months of interest. We're hoping to get our plan set & get in gear with it by next month. Hufflepuff is going to have its first house chat this weekend in the Great Hall so we're all really stoked about that & hope for a large turn-out. Also, we'd like to congratulate Adrianna La Cerva who was recently promoted to Prefect Assistant. Congrats, Adie!! We know you're gonna do a great job, girlie!! For the much of March, the badgers have been engaged in a Point Brawl.
Eight Hufflepuffs participated in the event, gathering points in any way they could! Our top point earner for the month of March was none other than Zoey Taylor! She worked hard and contributed more than 3,700 points to the hufflepuff hourglass! As the March Point Brawl winner, Zoey will receive 25 Galleons from our Head of House! Congratulations Zo! You�ve got Hufflepuff pride! Thanks to everybody who participated; you all did a great job. As it stands, the Hufflepuff house currently holds second place in the race for the house cup, but if our badgers continue to work as hard as they are, we�ll be holding first in no time!
It's been a rather hectic year so far, and the month of March is coming to an end. Well then, here's come a brand new section by one overly enthusiastic (?) Ravenclaw. A Raven's Journal will feature the small tidbits that have been going on in the RCR as well as� well, whatever I can come up with. Sounds stupid? Well, what can I say? This section is here only because I felt like starting it.
So, recently, what have the Ravens been up to? Well, we're doing some top-secret training for our upcoming Quidditch matches. We're working extra hard to make up for the losses we've sustained this season. We've even had problems where our own players were attacked due to an alter-ego issue. But we'll deal with it. I can't tell you exactly what we have up our sleeves, but we'll definitely blow the other houses away at our next match! It won't just be our skills, but something extra, like brand new� ah, nearly let it out. Shhh, I can't say it, so let's just say it's a surprise for now, kay?
The Ravenclaws aren't only concentrating on Quidditch, but also on other things like classes and what we love the most, Post-a-thons! There's one going on right now, and of course, I'm joining in on the fun! This sure is a great way to boost our CR's total posts, which currently stand at an-amount-that-I-shall-not-reveal-to-you. Ha! I can't go around publishing my house's important secrets, can I? We have a point-a-thon coming up as well, in April, and hopefully that'll raise our house points. We've been doing rather dismally this term, but we'll try and catch up!
Sadly, I've got no rumors to share at the moment, but I'll try to dig some up soon. Well, this is Blue signing out! More coming up next time!
Ravenclaw has recently seen a sudden burst of activity. Older members are posting quite more then usual making our house once again active. We've also seen a large increase in new students who are posting like crazy. It's really great to see Ravenclaw getting back to its old self again.
Speaking of posting, we've just ended our latest post a thon which was a huge success. Sorry but I can't give you our post totals, that has to remain top secret. I can tell you however, that the Prefect's and PA's were taking full advantage of having no flood control during the post a thon but hey, who could blame them? The winners of the latest post a thon were Taylor Wallace coming in first place, Summer Levy following in second place, and Amber Thatcher grabbed third place. Though these were the top three winners everyone who participated posted their hearts out and helped score Ravenclaw a high number of posts. We're about to begin another post a thon already and with the increase in activeness and all the new students we've been getting this next one's sure to be a huge success as well. In the month of March, Ravenclaw has welcomed many new students into our house. We'd like to say another big welcome to Ginny Weasley-Potter, Mirielle, Alastor Moody, Artemius Baxby, Elizabeth, keyana, TOV, Toby McDermont, Lily Seabrook, northstar_june, Luna Lovegood, Kashik, Kayla Mathews, Carrie Pwentin, and Jaqua Meron.
This bunch of new Ravens have certainly caught us by surprise: the new students of March is about three times as much as the new students of other months! This is indeed a happy event in Ravenclaw, and we welcomed the new students with open arms/claws and have already developed great friendships with them.
We expect to receive more new Ravens in the future, but March is definitely a month to remember.

As you can see, we've got quite a diverse number of students! Other new students include Sita Baker, Jake Ravenclaw, Flipper, Ginny Weasley-Potter, Alastor Moody, elizabeth, Toby McDermont, Lil seabrook, northstar_june, Kashik, Kayla Mathews, and Jaqua Meron. Good luck to all new students!
Along with March came warmer weather, an increase in rain, flowers blooming, and a surge of creativeness in Ravenclaw. Many members have been using the artwork section of the common room to share their masterpieces. Ravens have been posting things from songs to photoshop blends. Amber Thatcher has posted quite a few exceptional poems. Artemius Baxby has contributed by posting some very catchy songs. Taylor Wallace has posted a few dolls that she has made and some creative signatures that she's made for members of the site. Raelyn has posted four images of fellow housemates that she drew with her own hands; she's VERY talented at this. Hagrid Black has posted some awesome 3D signatures that he's created. Summer Levy has posted beautiful blends that she's made, both HP and non-HP. We're again proving just how talented the members of Ravenclaw can be. Who knows what artistic creations will come out of Ravens in the month of April but you can be sure they'll be great! Art club, watch out, Ravenclaw may soon be taking over.

That old Slytherin ambition is at an all-time high in the Common Room. We snakes are so sure of our future success that we�ve even got a thread going to make plans about what we�ll do when we earn/bully/blackmail our way into power! It�s a game, started by Slytherin�s own Taika Korento, called �When I Take Over the World�� and it�s revealed quite a lot about the future of the world if left in the hands of Slytherins.
Some of these questionable leading methods are: �When I take over the world, I will blow something up,� �When I take over the world, I will make poking the law,� and worst of all, �When I take over the world, I will put Kiley in a zoo.� The school should be on the lookout for early implementations of
world-ruling-plans such as these!
But not all Slytherin ruling techniques are so�well�dubious. Some of the more fun ones are: �When I take over the world, I will have a world-wide disco,� �When I take over the world, all J-rockers will be banned from wearing shirts,� and most importantly, �When I take over the world, I'll send PAD on vacation because she deserves a break from us weirdoes.� Take the good with the bad, right?

We all know Tom Riddle as the one boy from the orphanage. As such, he has no money in his vault, which wouldn�t be less uninteresting than it already is. But I recently watched him asking for money at the Slytherin Common Room. The reason seems clear enough, as he asked for money in order to be able to buy school supplies so he is able to take classes around here.
However, which started as a simple �can you lend me some money� thing, has now grown to the competition of �who will donate more money to the �Tomilicious fund� or the so called �Send Tomilicious to the Etiquette School Fund��the latest competition here arose over the question, who would be allowed to go on a shopping tour with Tom, and unsurprisingly Junk has volunteered at once. No surprise here.
Yes, we Slytherins are crazy and funny folks. And if there is ever a Slytherin in need, we are there for him. Go us! Go Slytherin!

Yes, we Slytherins ARE crazy, without a doubt so�because we are crazy about our Head of House, Professor Snape. Of course, it might occur a bit weird to state this openly and for everyone to read, but we are willing to do everything to worship our true hero. xD Ah, well.
A few days ago, I went out and started a poll at the SCR with the simple question: Who deserves a fan club the most? Along, I gave quite a list of people to vote on. Amongst of them Seraphina Rosehill, Jennifer Kull, Tom Riddle, Kiley Blaire and � of course - Professor Snape. Honestly, I didn�t expect anything else than the thing I had to face as soon as I came back to the CR. I found my poll thread spammed with some disgusting (:P) sweet-talk of our most favourite and evenly hated couple: JUNK & Tom. The dream team had managed to take over the thread within the minute I left the room, only to announce that they would BOTH deserve such a club, and � may I add this � there was quite some �fight� going on in there, as to whom should be president of who�s club and who should be worshipped the most. Even their try to �gain� votes was awesome to watch, as they threatened to strike out everyone from their list of presents who wouldn�t vote for them in the end, and it had the desired effect. However, not for the both of them.
After some back and forth of the vote count, we had two winners of this poll: Miss Kiley Blaire and Professor Snape. Of course we can�t assure that Professor Snape didn�t try to affect the voters here, as he mentioned to Miss Rosehill that, so the Head of House, �You better start [to take over the common room] soon as it is becoming the Tom & Jen show...�. What does this tell us? Hah, no details here. My apologies.
However, after the outcome of the poll was a pretty clear tie, I went off to start a second poll � the tie-breaker. Miss Blaire mentioned before, that she wouldn�t like her odds in such a situation, and even tried to calm the lot down, by stating �How about we all make one for Snapiepoo? All official-like?�. This weak try did not have the requested effect � at least not for her. Professor Snape went out of this little initiated competition as the winner. He has succeeded to win the most of Slytherin�s fan girls in less than one week.
However, as Miss Dark Wing pointed out, �Isn't the whole of Slytherin technically already part of Snapiepoo's fan club? Plus there's Snapie's Angels.� Correct. But Sir can prepare himself for the grand opening of �Snapiepoo�s Fan Club, as Miss Rosehill already insisted upon becoming the club�s President, and the first rule is already set: Only the President may hug the Snape. But the rest will remain secret for now.
As you can see: we are crazy in love with Professor Snape. Don�t blame us.

Oh boy, what can I say, we certainly have gotten some great new students and even those that have been here but a month or two have already made them selves at home and this is one Slytherin used to seeing them around. Aritcles are being written and you will have to check into our Double Issue of the Daily Prophet as the newbies wrote quite a bit for it! The house has started a new dorm system, which is very Slytherin like in the dorm names and a new fan club has been started, course I will spare you the details, but sheesh peopel, we are Slytherins. I would tell you more, but then I would have to kill you...you know how secretive we Slytherins are.

In the past few months, some dedicated Slytehrins have stepped up and opened new shops for the students of PAD�s to enjoy. First to open was Dracula�s Dorm D�cor, owned and operated by Jess Dark Wing. This shop offers everything for your dorm from Custom Dorm Design to accessories and wall hanging to spice up your room. You can find this shop in the Knockturn Alley Mall, so stop by for a visit!
Next to open Was Siggies Galore, owned and Operated by Jenii Chang. Offering custom made signatures for everyone at PADs, you should stop by the Mall in Hogsmeade to check it out. Jenii put a lot of time and work into this shop, so give it a look!
The most recent shop to come from the house of Slytherin is Forever Mischievous Signature Shop, or FMSS as it is most commonly called. This shop is owned and operated by Seraphina Rosehill and Kiley Blaire and had been very busy with orders since it opened. This shop offers custom signatures, icons and even custom made dorms or offices, available to anyone that is a member of PAD�s Hogwarts.
All these new shop owners have spent a great deal of their time putting these together for the school, so be sure to give them a peek the next time you go shopping!

The Noble house of Slytherin has been buzzing with excitement since the announcement on the BB about each house hosting its own dance. After much debate and picking apart the list of holidays, the Snakes have settled on the month of May for their Uber-Top-Secret Dance. With planning already in place and the design and decorations being settled on, one thing is for sure, the Slytherin Dance in May is SURE to be a great time!

March brought the arrivals of many new Slytherins. Taika Korento arrived on the first and has been non-stop active ever since. She fits in perfectly with all the Slytherins and it's a pleasure having her. Diamond, also arrived on the first. I hope we see more of her as she hasn't been around much, but I'm sure she'll be an excelent addition to Slytherin. Areyana came in on the third and we're so glad to have her. She's been trying all kinds of ways to earn points. Areyana had better stay for good. Nemii arrived shortly after and has quite a post count for a newbie. Despite knowing Taika in real life she has ventured off and made lots of other friends in this house. Destinee Rae arrived a little later but I'm not quite sure what happened to her. I hope we didn't scare her away, although some of the posts in her introduction thread are kindof scary. Despite the rumors, we'd never bite. Leah Emerald arrived the same day but we didn't scare her away. She has made some friends, posted tons, and has some serious potential in Slytherin. Zuvin arrived and boy are we glad he did. The girls were out numbering the boys big time! Mimiki Danielson arrived the day after Zuvin on the 17th. It's great to have her here and I do hope we see her around more often. For these newbies March came in like a Serpent and out like a---well, let's just hope they never leave.
March also brought the return of two Slytherins. Marilene McGonagall is returning to us after a months absence. She's gotten back in the swing of things and is quite active. Artemis also arrived back. Her computer crashed but she says she's back and ready to party! It will be great having her back in the common room! Welcome home guys!

When we had our voting for Slytherin of the Month, Tom Riddle won by a landslide and it's clear why! Tom posts like mad in the common room trying to earn points on his busy schedual. Tom is constantly active and introduces himself to every newbie. Tom works hard and does all the challanges every single month and trys the staff contests too. Tom's great at being around when you need him and also really fun to RP with. It's great having Tom in Slytherin.
On October 5th, a new idea was proposed by Penshire's Head of House, Professor Ripley. The idea was meant to bring together Penshire students by creating "team dorms". These dorms are large enough for at least four or five students, and there are enough teams to fit every student in our house. Each team has been given a unique team name and a mascot which is a form of a crane. One of the team names we have for the girl dorms are The Energetic Egrets and for the boys The Crazy Crakes. Everyone is now situated in a new dorm and new cranes are being added into them. The dorms have brought everyone closer and everyone is enjoying their times with their dorm mates. As more students get sorted into Penshire, new teams shall be created to make sure that everyone will have other dorm mates. So if you are in Penshire and don't have a dorm, don't fret, you shall get one soon enough.
In the month of March, Penshire held a staff posting competition. The requirements were that the first staff member to reach 4,000 posts would be titled the winner. Though, to much our dismay, the contest was initiated right as the BB Posting War begun. So, of course, all the staff members had to juggle posting in the BB and in Penshire. Though, at the end, Bryony Casten claimed victory by being the first staff member to reach the goal of 4,000 posts. Well done Bry.
During the month, Penshire has also found themselves welcoming several new students in our house. Those members are Meggie Folchart, Faith Puppy, Davina Jean, Polaris Black, and Piper Frost. All those members have properly introduced themselves and received a proper introduction from all of the cranes. I'd like to personally welcome them all once more, and I hope that you all enjoy your stay in our house.

March has been a great month for Penshire!! We are still rocking the glass with over 113,000 points. That is of course the hard work of the entire house!! Yay Penshire!! We welcomed several new students: Meggie, Davina, Polaris, Faith and Piper. We also welcomed back Hootie!! Our house has been active and fun place to be. In March we also had a new prefect step up, Bryony Casten. Congratulations Bry! So although it might have been an interesting month in Penshire, let me tell you we all stick are rocking!! We still have a few tricks up our sleeves, so watch out!!! :P

This month Penshire would like to recognize Faith as the Penshire of the Month. She joined Penshire on March 13 and is on fire!! She already has almost 300 posts and is very active in the games around the site. Our resident puppy has been motivating students in writings for the Owl gazette and Wizard Diegest and has been busy writing for both herself. We would like to officially welcome Faith and give her the honor of being this month�s Penshire of the Month!! Congrats!!
It seems that a new club has been formed within the walls of our wondrous Common Room: The Gryffindor Welcome Wagon, founded by Fiona Chauvet. This club's intent is helping new lions feel at home here at Hogwarts. Our House is great at welcoming newbies, but sometimes that extra mile makes you feel like you fit right in.
While it is just starting up, currently club members are contributing to various tasks in helping newcomers feel like they fit in. Some are helping to make images, while some are coming up with small gifts for the new students like our sugar quills or other candies. The club is also coming up with a little speech to help them know a little bit more about their new home.
Even though it was just started up on the ninth of March, the Welcome Wagon already boasts nine members, and all Gryffindors are welcome to join! Current members include Fiona Chauvet, Megan Miller, Ellie Davidson, Stephanie Nicholson, Kimmie Brandon, Hilary Stevens, Hermy Granger, Cornelia Potter, Marlowe Potter and Roxanne Whitez. Fiona is the almighty Wagon-Leader, with Megan, Hilary, Steph, Ellie, and Marlowe running for the title of 'vice'. The rest are dispersed as image makers, gift finders and such, and we already have some beautiful banners made up.
Even at this early stage, the Welcome Wagon is becoming a success, and they are doing some great work, as well!

Well, it seems that the decision to skip this usual article until this issue was a good choice since there were only two new students joining us at the time. Now, this reporter has more than two students to welcome into Gryffindor's den and therefore, the article was brought back.
So, without further delay, the house of Gryffindor wish to extend their warmest greetings to Jill Z, Adam Crawford Jr, Stephanie Nicholson, Myles Potter, Kimmie Brandon, Cornelia Potter and Nancy Lopes. We expect their lights will shine very brightly here at Hogwarts and we look forward to having more students helping us in our competition for the House Cup.
We would also like to acknowledge the return of Will Sutton and Marlowe Potter.

Many heads have turned at the new formed relationship of Gryffindors Roxanne Whitez and Gawyn Crossguard. The two seemed to be hitting it off when Laughter entered the scene. Laughter has taken Gryffindor by storm, but Roxanne seems to be particularly attatched to him. She's claimed Laughter as her own and even started a topic in its honor, but where is Gawyn in all of this? Roxie runs around the common room ranting about 'her laughter' yet still claims loyalty to Gawyn. Has Roxie turned her back on her boyfriend in exchange for Laughter? Does Gawyn find it hard to have his girlfriend split her affections between the two of them? Does Laughter even know all of this is happening? I don't know, but I'm sure more will unfold in this matter, so stay tuned as the saga continues.
As the month of March approached and is whizzing by before our very eyes, the house of Gryffindor has been very busy indeed! Between welcoming new students, cheering on our Quidditch team in their game against Slytherin, and trying to earn more points towards the House Cup competition, it's been a busy month.
Recently, we've started up a new club called the Gryffindor Welcome Wagon whose main responsibility is to welcome all new Gryffindors to our house and school and make them feel at home and comfortable by giving them each a small gift and doing our best to explain how things work around here. Fiona Chauvet, whose idea this was in the first place, has been named President of the Club, although the one who will hold the position of Vice President has yet to be decided and will be announced at a later date.
We also held a house point-a-thon recently and earned a whack load of points, go us! Issue number 15 of The Quibbler is also in the works as we await the arrival of stories and such.
Because of it's success earlier on in the term, we have decided to start up another RPG Mix-Up which groups together those who have signed up with people that they have never role played with before and their job is to all come up with and start an RPG together, making sure each group member posts and thus enabling us to get to know everyone in our house and not just those we are already friends with.
