Tracy's Picture Album - Year 2005

Trip to NYC
I visited Amy Lei in NYC. Spent the weekend exploring neighborhoods like Greenwich Village, Harlem, Uptown. Had pizza at Grimaldi's, the "best pizza in town", with Jordan. Saw the Gates in Central Park. Shopped. I also got to see Gina and Kelly! February 19, 2005

Elephant & Castle Christmas Party
The X-mas Party at Duffy's included food, drink, and karaoke. All of the managers got up to sing. Everyone but me got smashed together. Highlights included: Dennis dancing, Ryan and Joe singing You've lost that loving feeling? and Darcy winning the Karaoke contest. March 6, 2005

Day with Nat & Pride
Natalie (my favorite co-worker at E&C) spent the day together. Breakfast, Gay Pride Parade, Work, Open Mic/Dancing at Funky Buddha Lounge. You'll also see Felipe, the best bus boy in the world. June 26, 2005

Fourth with Karen
Karen came to visit for a few days. We didn't go to bed until 5am each night she was here. We went bar/club hopping Saturday. Spent Sunday lounging, at the beach, and went to see T.M.L.M.T.B.G.B. Had us a ghetto fab wine and cheese night. Celebrated the Fourth at Rik's house, followed by dancing at Green Dolphin. Fabulous Weekend! July 02-05, 2005

Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI
Tabitha and I took a day off to check out Summerfest. We ate lots of fair food, browsed through the bazaars, and listened to a few bands. AND we played Bingo! Didn't get any bingoes, but it was exciting! Notable bands: Black Elephant and Tortured Soul. July 7, 2005.

Grandma's Weekend
My Grandmother passed over Fourth of July weekend. Her death was expected, which somehow made it a lot easier to cope with. I was home for the service. Even though it was a sad event, I had a wonderful weekend. My cousins and I spent the entire weekend looking at old pictures of our parents and ourselves as kiddies, eating well, watching movies, shopping at Target, and playing Settlers of Catan. It was great to spend a relaxing weekend in our house with family. July 15, 2005.

Natalie's Day
For Natalie's birthday, I went to her place and finally met her roommates. I brought my newly purchased Settlers of Catan + Expansion Pack and taught them all to play. Everyone should play, it's a fantastic game full of strategy and fun. The dynamic board makes every game different! July 27, 2005.

Tabitha's Birthday
Tabitha, Sue, Dave, Rik, Damaris, and I went to celebrate the birth of Miss Tabitha at the newly opened Francesca Forno on Milwaukee/North/Damen. Between the six of us we consumed 6 bottles of wine, 7 baskets of bread and butter, 4 courses, Parisian cake, AND cupcakes! Post-dinner festivities were spent at Funky Buddha and Crobar. I haven't laughed that much in a while. August 19, 2005.

On the Town
I went to dinner with Natalie so I could meet her brother and new boy. Thank goodness I had my faux-boyfriend, Dave, in tow. Holy coupledom. We went to Clybar afterwards where Shontel met up with us. We all had a dandy time and here are the pics to prove it. September 3, 2005.

ZS Dinner Party
Adam and Sai, my neighbors, work at ZS Associates. Sai invited me to their company dinner party at Blue Water Grill. Food was excellent, the wine plentiful, and the company was great! We went to the W and Hunt Club afterwards. October 7, 2005.

25th Birthday Outing
My initiation to the quarter-lifer club. Had dinner with Dave, Tab, Jen, Ray, and Rik at Thyme. Yummy food, but they melted Tab's ice cream cake! Fun gifts. Then, Shontel and John met me at Funky Buddha. We did 5am at RedNo5. Had a blast dancing. There are lots of pics courtesy of John. I swear I'm not as drunk as I look. October 15, 2005.

Pumpkining!
Tabitha and I went out to the pumkin patch! We took a hay ride and searched far and wide for the perfect pumpkins. Mine are imperfect, but I like them that way. We also visited the petting zoo. Then, spent the rest of the night carving. My arms are sore. Tabitha did her pumpkins freehand! (Pumkin is a fun word to say) October 16, 2005.

Halloween Horrors
Busy day for this Snow Bunny. I stopped in on a bar crawl, party at Jackie's, then Barleycorn's with Adam and Sai. Lessons learned: size 10 in the 1970s is akin to a size 4 now. Yeah, I had a hard time walking and going up stairs. October 29, 2005.

Let's Go Fly a Kite!
A windy day in the Windy City. Dave and I hunted down a kite and went out to fly! Kite flying is a whole lot harder than it looks. November 9, 2005.

In awhile crocodile
It wasn't Matilda's, but they sure did treat us right at Mix. Good friends kindly came to see me off. Thanks for showing me love. I'm going to miss these folks! November 14, 2005.

Thanksgiving Weekend
Visited home before moving out to Breckenridge. Played Taboo and Boggle at the Albatross. Watched Cirque du Soleil. And ate lots of good food, as always. November 25, 2005.

Hello Breckenridge!
Here I am in Breckenridge! New place, new awesome roommates, glorious views, and fantastic snow! December 03, 2005.

Holy Quarter-pipe!
A 30 foot quarter pipe was built in a public parking lot. Crazy snowboarders were getting 20+ feet in the air! To top it off, Digital Underground performed! But wait, there's more! I danced on stage with Digital Underground to "Freaks of the Industry"! December 17, 2005.

New Year's Eve
The night started off with a Torchlight Parade down the face of Peak 9. We finished it off at The Brown, an old brothel. It was great to spend the new year with my roommates and new friends. December 31, 2005.
