A rose can symbolize many things; from love to hate, from courage to friendship,
they are given as presents and to signify an important event. The most popular colors are red, yellow, and shades of pink, but in the last
few years new colors are also becoming increasingly popular.
The least popular rose is the black rose, (in reality a very dark burgundy red) as
it signifies death in an untimely manner.
Red roses are sold most during valentines and mother's day, as a red rose signifies
love.
