Story

In the eyes of Timmy Turner, eight-year-old Tootie (her last name is unknown) seems to be nothing more than his mean babysitter's little sister who happens to harbor an obsessive crush on him, to the point that she gives chase whenever she comes near him. Why must Timmy shun her, ignore her, and make fun of her when all she wants is for him to love her back? Is it because he does not find her attractive? Or is he just afraid of commitment and/or having Vicky for a sister-in-law?

No, the answer is that Timmy is, at this point in his life, very shallow and almost never willing to look at the relationship from Tootie's point of view. As if that isn't enough, he has a crush of his own, and it's on Trixie Tang, despite her continuous and obvious signs of rejection and hatred. Refusing to accept the fact that Trixie doesn't like him and that he should be pursuing a girl who truly likes him, Timmy rejects Tootie in the same way Trixie rejects him without realizing it.

So why does Tootie take a liking to Timmy in spite of his continuous attempts to avoid her? Because, quite frankly, he needs a girl who loves him for who he is. The only time Trixie ever gives him her attention is he has something that she wants out of him, which is usually if Cosmo & Wanda grant it for him. Tootie, on the other hand, doesn't need magic to see what a great guy Timmy really is. And Timmy will hopefully grow less shallow as he gets older and realize looks and popularity aren't everything. After all, he's already shown signs that he cares for Tootie (to be more exact, in most of the episodes listed below), and his future children bare more resemblance to her than any other girl he's been romantically involved with, so it is quite obvious that Timmy will eventually realize that Tootie was the one for him all along.

Tootie: You're holding my hand!

Tootie: (playing with Cosmo and Wanda as dolls) Do you Timmy, take you Tootie to be your lawfully wedded wife?

Timmy: Tootie, I want you to have [my old Crimson Chin action figure]. More importantly, I want you to have this and never ever, ever follow me home again.
Tootie: Oh Timmy! This is the best gift ever!
Timmy: And it will be our little secret... of love.

Timmy: Tootie, I'm totally gonna kick myself for this tomorrow, but... (jabs the love arrow into his rump) Tootie, will you be my Valentine?
Tootie: Yes! Yes! YES!

Tootie: But you have to come! You have to come because I love you!

Tootie: Don't hurt him! He hired all these actors and rented out this whole stadium all because of me! I love him more than ever!

Tootie: You leave Timmy Turner--my one true love--alone, you big gray bully!

Tootie: You're here? In my house? My Timmy-tracker must be malfunctioning.

Tootie: You're my hero... even if you are wearing a dress.

Where did the rim of Tootie's glasses go?
