Many of the "Direct Ties" to the Legendary James Gang lived
their lives in Silence, as others continued to explore the legend
of the James-Younger Gang.

Jesse James was Killed on April 3, 1882 as his brother Frank
escaped the trials of the James Gang. Living out his life after
the trials, no conviction was ever brought to the former outlaw
of the James-Younger Gang, as Cole Younger and others lived
out their lives as well.

Many of the Gang members continued to remain unknown as
Frank James, Cole Younger and others lived their lives to the
end. Other members of the gang would never be revealed while
many who knew Frank James embraced his silence.

Though many speculations rose over the years, no complete accurate list of the outlaws who rode with the James-Younger
gang actually exists.
