After a three hour row to the beach, Maraamu and Rotu find out they have no rations whatsoever. Sarah relaxes as her tribe gets to shore, much to opposing members dismay and Rotu gets aggravated when Kathy starts to boss them around. Rotu wins the first challenge and Maraamu heads to tribal council. There they decide to vote off Peter who revealed his strategy to soon.

Rotu was starting to finally bond, despite hunger, except Kathy who kept herself isolated from the main group. While on Maraamu, Patricia took control as she organized camp rubbing people the wrong way. Rotu won both the reward challenge and the immunity challenge. Maraamu was sent to tribal council again and Patricia was voted out over Sarah.

After voting off Patricia, both Sarah and Sean blew up at Hunter who had become aggravated by their bad work ethic. Meanwhile, after John got stung by a sea urchin, Kathy came to the rescue and peed on his hand. Each tribe made a raft and once again Rotu prevailed at the reward and immunity challenge. Fed up with Hunter, Rob Mariano and his alliance voted him out.

Gina, Hunter's friend in the Marquesas came back surprised from the vote and felt she was on the outs, but a twist took placed and the tribes were switched with Paschal, Neleh, and Kathy joining Maraamu and Rob, Vecepia, and Sean joining Rotu. Rotu won immunity for the fourth time sending the new Maraamu to tribal council where alienated Sarah was voted off.

Now on a new tribe, old Maraamu mastermind, Rob, felt like his days were numbered. John talked with Gabriel on his tribe and found out that Gabe wasn't even here to play the game. Maraamu won their first challenge and got to raid Rotu. Maraamu came back and also won immunity. Rotu went to tribal council where they voted off Gabriel who wasn't here to play.

After returning from tribal council John, Robert, Tammy, and Zoe made a pact to stick together. Rob and Sean felt threatened by them. Paschal, Kathy, and Neleh were surprised to see Gabriel gone at the reward challenge which their tribe Maraamu won. Maraamu was very bonded, so it was heartbreaking for them when they lost immunity and had to vote off Gina.

Though glad they didn't have to deal with Lindsey, Brandon and Kim P. found themselves in a tough spot. At the immunity challenge the tribes discovered that they had merged. Teresa won immunity after battling Clarence out to win. Clarence asked her not to vote for him and she agreed. However Lex got everyone else to vote for Clarence after telling Clarence he was a threat. At tribal council Clarence was out, with Lex getting 2 votes.

After coming back from voting off Rob, the tribe braced themselves in a storm. Kathy won reward and after Sean approached her she tried to get Neleh and Paschal to vote out John. Tammy won immunity and Neleh and Paschal saw that they were being used by John, Zoe, Robert, and Tammy and sided with Kathy, Sean, and Vecepia and voted out John.

With John gone, Zoe told Tammy that she never liked her power. Sean and Paschal won the reward challenge and were able to have a feast. Tammy and Robert tried to realign themselves with Paschal and Neleh, but had no luck and neither did Zoe with her jewelry. Tammy won immunity and Zoe was voted out because of her strength.

The remaining seven are hungry and hunt for baby sharks because of their diminished appetite. Paschal won reward where he and Neleh got to spend a night on a cruise ship. Upon return to camp, the tribe disliked Neleh's attitude and they called her a princess. Robert won immunity and with Tammy no longer safe she was voted out of Soliantu.

The final six were missing their loved ones and at the reward challenge they were able to win time with them. Kathy's son won the challenge and got to spend time at camp. Robert did his best to try and save himself by talking to Kathy. And Sean and Vecepia said that Neleh didn't deserve to win. Vecepia won the immunity challenge and Robert was voted out.

Kathy found herself to be the swing vote between Neleh and Paschal or side with Vecepia and Sean and Vecepia told Kathy that race was a determining factor. Sean won himself a car at the reward challenge and when Paschal called him out saying that he and Vecepia had an alliance, he denied it. Kathy won immunity and sided with Paschal and Neleh and voted out Sean.

Kathy returned from tribal council hoping she did the right thing and the final four convened at tribal council for their Fallen Comrades immunity challenge. Vecepia was able to win and in a dead locked tie Kathy, Neleh, and Paschal had to draw rocks. Paschal received the purple rock and was eliminated from the game. Vecepia, Kathy, and Neleh competed in their final immunity challenge Vecepia asked Neleh to bring her to the finals. Neleh did so but found herself losing the final vote to Vecepia.
