| Kill for Pleasure (New Renaissance) 1987 1. Menacing Thunder 2. Kill for Pleasure 3. Cannibal 4. Vampire 5. Bloodlust 6. Suicidal Mission 7. Venomous Death 8. The Evil 9. Darkside 10. R.I.P. Got this one back in November of '04 along with their EP, 'Face Fate.' Blood Feast are a lot like a cross of Slayer and Anthrax. They have the song titling and writing similar to Slayer, but the humorous approach like Anthrax. While I don't view either of their CDs I own must gets, I don't think they're bad, either. This album was self-produced by the band, which gives it a garage-band sound to it, which isn't all that bad. Besides, thrash metal isn't about musical cleanliness. The tracks I liked from this album are Bloodlust, The Evil, Darkside, and Cannibal. The band disbanded soon after the release of 'Chopping Block Blues,' but supposedly reunited sometime last year or something. |

| Face Fate (New Renaissance) 1988 1. Face Fate 2. Blood Lust 3. R.I.P. 4. Vampire Blood Feast's second release. The sound production is a lot better on this one, mainly because they got signed on to a record label. I think they pushed this one out because of pressure on the East Coast to follow up from their last album. The EP features one new track, Face Fate, and three from 'Kill for Pleasure.' Like I said, I got this with 'Kill' as a bargain. I think I've listened to the EP more than I have 'Kill,' mainly for Face Fate. It's a damn good song. |
