Anthrax were part of the "Big Four" of the 1980's and one of the best (if not only) thrash/speed metal bands from New York (even though New York sucks :)  Anthrax are unique in the fact that they don't take the music as seriously as other bands do--they just play for the fun of it.  Some of their music is too punk-ish for me, but that's fine by me, I still like the band.  The only downside is John Bush...

Another one of Anthrax's "greatest hits" contemplations.  I picked this one up at Sam Goody for $4.99  new in the bargain bin.  I'm not really big on Anthrax, but I like them nonetheless.  There isn't too much wrong with the album except for the fact of lackluster track choosing.  Where is Armed and Dangerous, Belly of the Beast, or Time (my favorite Anthrax song) at?  Anthrax did make up with it by including Indians, Madhouse, and I am the Law on the album.  Still, it's fun to listen to.

Antrax's first live album in quite some time and I must say that I'm not really impressed with John Bush.  I love the songs but I dislike the singer.  Scott Ian kills the show with his stunning guitar work (by kills, I don't mean ruins) and I love the drumming.  Had Joey Belladonna been in the band, this album would have been KILLER.  Sadly, we were left with the dork, John Bush, who fucked with the crowd way too much and came off as a nuisance to me...  Anyhow, I got the CD/DVD combo in one (for $20, what's better, buying both seperately or in the same product? :)  The DVD includes a few more tracks to it, which will be noted on my DVD page when I make it.  The main failure was the fact that they didn't play Time...oh well, still a great buy and a great album--minus John Bush, of course.
