Welcome! It's nice to meet you! We'd like to introduce some of the folks who have helped put this site together, and who are regular posters on our newsgroup. Eventually, we hope to include some brief stories of our own struggles with codependency, and how we've worked to overcome those obstacles to our own happiness, personal growth and recovery. Some of the folks here would prefer to remain anonymous. That's why they've chosen not to include photos or their personal e-mail addresses. We hope you'll understand, and not let that stop you from dropping them an e-mail through our group address. Just be sure to put their name somewhere in the subject line, so we'll know where to forward the message. We'd all love to hear from you!

Hi I'm Linda. Nice to meet you. I've been a very active member of our AnnexCafe Codependency Newsgroup since it began a couple of years ago. I also work on, and manage, several other AnnexCafe newsgroups, as well. Over the years I've enjoyed offering my services to several 12 Step groups here in Ontario, Canada. I'll be submitting some of my poetry to this site, along with some other things I've found interesting and fun. I hope you will enjoy them. Read "My Story" Please drop me a line at: [email protected]
Hi, I'm "Katie." At least that's the name everyone calls me at our AnnexCafe Newsgroup. :-) I'm one of the co-moderators there, and helped to form the newsgroup about 2 years ago, along with Linda, and our other co-moderator who prefers to call herself "xyz." I live in Ohio, and I've been working on my own recovery from codependency for several years now in an informal way. I've just begun to work on it in a more structured way in the last couple of years. I'll be working on this site continuously, to include more information, articles, poetry, games, and other things that all our members have submitted. There will always be new things to see. You can write to me at: [email protected]

Hi, my name is David. I became aware of codependency 10 years when member of my 12 step group formed a subgroup to look at it. I found it relevant to my life as well. At the moment I am trying to put all my issues- family issues, adult child and codependency within the one package. I live in New Zealand. This place once seemed far away but with the help of the net this is no longer so. In a forum like this I believe the best thing is we practise healthy relationships amongst ourselves- friendship, trust and respect. I don't always get it right the first time but I think that is part of the challenge and the fun! You can drop me an e-mail at: [email protected]
