Both words in this definition are important.
Jewish - This group relates only to Jewish issues
Psych - This group relates to professional psychological, psychotherapeutic, or psychiatric issues.
We did toy with various other group names. Yiddishe Kop was a nice play on words. It refers to a Jewish brain, of course, but we intentionally took it to mean someone who was Jewish (Yiddishe) and worked with everybody's Kop (head). We did start a group with that name.
Perhaps it was too cute. Professionals didn't join. After that experience, we didn't dare try a different cutesie name, such as Shrink Rap.
Instead, we changed the name to Jewish Psych.
