The Jewish Humor group requires its own special guidelines.
Double meanings may present a serious problem. True, today's kids are exposed to these things, but that does not give us license to stoop to that level. Hollywood is not our standard or our starting point.
Yahoo automatically strip all attachments from Jewish Groups postings.
This may create a problem when subscribers want to submit a cartoon. Most cartoons would be rejected anyhow, because they have been circulating on the Internet despite the fact that they are copyrighted.
However, those who would like to post a good, funny, proper, and original Jewish cartoon in JPEG or MPEG format may submit it directly to the moderator. It may then be posted by the moderator in the Jewish Humor Files section. The person who sent the cartoon or the movie clip will be given proper credit.
We do sometimes post messages that have been passed around through the Internet, if they meet our other criteria.
