What soap is to the body,
laughter is to the soul

Both words in the title Jewish Humor are important. Any submission to the group must be specifically Jewish, and the moderator must consider it to be funny.

Thus, simply giving characters Jewish names, or changing the venue to a synagogue does not turn it into a Jewish joke.

What do we mean by clean humor?

The humor on the group should not only be clean, it should also look clean.

To be clean, it has to be suitable for a Jewish family audience, with no excuses!

To look clean, it must meet the following criteria:

  • Remove all references to previous forwarding of the humor
  • Remove all > symbols
  • Clean up the text so that it reads nicely

In addition, it does not include any of the problems listed on the page of excluded items.
