After subscribing, tell us who you are and where you are from. We know that you have a lot to say about your favorite subject, but please try to limit your introduction to 1-2 sentences.
Do not post the name of the man or woman who is looking for a shidduch.
Jewish Geography sometimes features postings by regional areas, by specific names, by meanings of names, or by other issues. That means that you may introduce yourself more than once.
Only one posting is permitted for each simcha.
We limit the announcements to happy, individual, *Jewish* milestones.
The Subject: line should state the event and the person's name (Married: David Cohen and Leah Levy, or Happy birthday, Jacob Israeli).
The body of the e-mail should give an approximate idea of the location of the Baal Hasimcha - the one(s) celebrating the event, as well as your own personal connection with that person. Never give exact details such as an address or phone number on any Internet posting to any group or forum.
No rumors, pranks, or third-party announcements are allowed. Post *original* messages about very close relatives (relations) or friends. Others may subscribe to Jewish Geography just as you did and then offer their own good wishes.

May the Jewish nation be filled with Simchas - and only Simchas.
