The dispersion of Jews throughout the world resulted in many sociological and anthropological issues. Among other things, Jews know other Jews all around the world. That's also how Yiddish became an international language - but that's the topic for a different forum.
The Jewish world is a small place, and most Jews know many other Jews, wherever they may be. That's what Jewish Geography is all about.
Jewish Geography helps us keep in touch with the good and nice things that other Jews are doing. You won't know all of the people listed here. However, that occasional one whom you do know - and whom you haven't been in touch with or seen for the past ten ears - will make it very exciting.
We also help other Jews find their shidduch. When it's successful, they can post the happy announcement on Jewish Geography - and thank us for helping them get to the chuppah.
The ultimate goal of all of these groups is to develop Jewish unity throughout the world. We can accomplish our goal even though we are dispersed in every imaginable country.
Find out about Jews around the globe. Keep in touch with their happy occasions. Share your own happy occasions.
It will almost be the same as if we ended the two-thousand-year-old Diaspora.
