


Some subscribers to the venerable Hebrew Translating group felt a need for a second group that would be on a more basic or elementary level. The new group would study Hebrew, but not for professional translating purposes.
The Ivrit group was started in response to that need.
Since that time the Ivrit group has grown considerably and it has taken on an identity of its own.
