| August 11, 2002 Signed the papers to get the house committed to us. Told them we want the deck outside the master bedroom, sliding glass door to master bedroom, changed from just a shower to a bath - shower in the master bedroom, added a GFI outlet on the deck, French door into bedroom #2 (which we are making into a den), oak flooring, wall change between living and dining rooms, oak flooring in living room, a phone and TV outlet to den. August 12, 2002 Signed the Purchase agreement papers and gave the earnest deposit to Candi. Now we are getting serious. August 25, 2002 Got hot under the collar since the house was not being built to what Jean and I thought it was going to be built. Complained about it in an email to Candi. August 26, 2002 Candi called to set up an appointment with Cherry Hill Homes. August 30, 2002 Meet with Candi of Krein, Gary and Bob of Cherry Hill, to discuss the problems with the front of the house. They told us that we would not be able to get the house front that we wanted since we did not purchase it until after the foundation had poured. We took the windows on the front of the house and moved them closer to the center split and put a small roof over the top of both of them. We hope that this will look ok after it is done, but right now it is up to our imagination of what this will look like. Whatever it looks like we will have to live with at this point in time. |
