Nelly Widmann
Nelly, is one of our two fiddlers. She is 14 and started off with the piano. She then moved on to the fiddle and has been playing four and a half years. She studies with teacher Deby Benton Grosjean. Nelly has enjoyed playing with Cabrillo Strings Orchestra and The Kids Celtic Band. She has received scholarships from Cabrillo strings orchestra. Nelly is a freshman in high school and is being home schooled (along with her 2 brothers) through the Alaskan school system. Nelly spends her summers in Alaska as does her brother Matt. Their father owns a salmon fishing boat that he operates. Nelly enjoys scrapbooking, amateur photography, chatting on-line and keeping us all in line with her great secretary skills!
