One day I'm coming, I ask: Who will you chose?
Will it be Me, or will it be you?
The struggles that you have -
yes I can make them few.
And when everything you have is lost-
I can make you new.
Remember that I created you-
heart, mind, soul, and body too.
And the blood that runs through your veins,
yes I meant it to be blue.
If you remain in Me-
and My words remain in you (John 15:7)
You may ask for what you want-
and grant it I would do.
My return is for good-
and your job is to spread the news.
A life free from sin-
Tell me, what's there to lose?
Stay in the Church-
and leave the world behind,
Never get the two confused.
'Cause in the end you'll have not one good answer
Not a single excuse.
I know you don't see it now-
but imagine the ways you could be used-
think of the bond we could have-
just us two.
My child I love you-
and I know you love me too -
So reach down deep inside-
and choose the Good News,
there's nothing you can lose,
it's where your struggles are few,
The one place you'll find that says...
"just Me and you".
