03/24/01 Basketball recruiting is all but done. In the fall, OU signed 6'7 Forward Matt Gibson from Burkburnette, TX. Some say that Matt is as tall as 6'9, but skills to play the three. OU also signed a transfer from South Florida. OU will sign one or two players this spring, but I am not sure who they will be. Next year looks promising as Oklahoma has six juniors who will be in the top 100 in the nation next year. One even may go pro. More on them later.
