United Mixed Martial Arts Association (UMMAA) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2000 by local martial artists who felt the need to help the disadvantaged youth of Ottawa. Our goal is to sponsor young people who wish to develop self esteem, gain confidence and acquire discipline through the study and practice of Martial Arts. We host an Annual "Demo Night" to introduce participating schools to the community members and to raise funds to support our activities.
