The main characters in this story are a 20-year-old woman named Alexis Thomas. She is the younger sister on Janie Thomas. (Author�s Note: I made up that last name. I don�t know what Janie�s real last name is.) Janie has been dating her boyfriend, Jacob Underwood off and on since grade 5. Jacob has known Alexis all her life and considers her a little sister. Jacob is very protective of Alexis. The other main characters are Erik-Michael Estrada, Trevor Penick, Ashley Angel and Dan Miller.
What Alexis looks like and a little bit about her- She has light brown hair with blonde highlights. She has big blue eyes, and looks a lot like Janie. Her hair is a little above shoulder length. She�s 5�7, and weighs about 105 lbs. Her favourite group is O-Town and she loves pop and R&B music. She works at Old Navy and wants to become an actress. She hates onions, Britney Spears, �N Sync and rock music. Her favourite show is Making the Band, and her favourite old show is I Love Lucy.
�Ok well today Janie is coming down and she�s bringing her younger sister down with her.� Jacob said while driving to the airport with the rest of the guys.
�How young?� Trevor said with a mysterious smile in his face.
� She�s 20. She�s like my little sister.� Jacob said and Trevor got the point. Keep your hands off her. When they finally got to the airport they all got out of the car. They waited for Janie and Alexis�s flight to get in. About 20 minutes later it did.
Alexis�s Point of View.
When Janie and I got off the plane we looked around for Jacob. Janie spotted him 1st. She ran over to him and gave him a hug. I walked up to him and he let go of Janie, and gave me a hug.
�Lex, you look great! Your so tall now!� Jacob said while hugging me. I laughed and pointed at my feet. I was wearing a pair of very high sandals.
�You should�ve known that Jake!� Janie said while laughing. He nodded his head and turned to the other guys in O-Town.
�Lex, this is-� Jacob was about to introduce me to them, but I cut him off.
�Erik, Ashley, Trevor and Dan.� I said while pointing at them when I said their name.
�Oh yah I forgot. You love us.� Jacob said while laughing.
�But I forget who your favourite is. Excluding me. Can you remind me again?� Jacob said, trying to embarrass me.
�Shut up Jake!� I said while punching him in the arm. He pretended it hurt.
�Jacob put a sock in it!� Janie said while hugging him. He laughed and listened to Janie. We all walked out to the car.
Jacob�s Point of View
I looked at the other guys and they were drooling over Alexis. I knew I had to watch them like they�re my 2-year-old kids.
�So are you excited about being in Florida with me?� I said to Alexis. She laughed and rolled her eyes.
�You�ve gotten more cocky since I last seen you.� She said to me, trying hard not to laugh.
�So seriously, which guy is your favourite?� I asked her.
�Well I like Erik and Trevor. I can�t choose between them. And if you tell them, I�ll hate you forever!� Alexis said, again trying hard not to laugh.
�You don�t like Ashley?� I said to her kind of surprised.
�Nope. I mean, he�s hot and all, but no.� Alexis said while looking at me. Janie come up beside me and I gave her a kiss.
�Ok now I�m going. I hate all that mushy stuff.� Alexis said and walked to the other guys. I pulled away from Janie and she looked at me funny.
�What�s wrong?� Janie asked me.
�I don�t want them liking her in the way I hate.� I said, hoping Janie would understand what I was trying to say.
�Jake they�re your friends. But whatever.� She said and we went back to kissing.
Chapter 2
Alexis�s Point of View
I walked by myself, when I felt someone tap on my shoulder. I turned around and it was Erik. I smiled and walked with him.
�So you�ve known Jacob all your life?� Erik asked me. I nodded my head. I was kind of nervous to talk to him and he noticed.
�Don�t be nervous to talk to me. I�m just a regular guy. Don�t treat me any different.� Erik said while looking into my eyes. I could tell he really meant it.
�I�m acting like such a teenybopper. I hate when I do that!� I said, kind of getting mad at myself.
�It doesn�t matter. So are you excited about spending a little time with Jake?� He asked me.
�Yah I guess. But I can only stay for a few days. I could only get that off work.� I said while looking at Jacob and Janie and rolling my eyes.
�Yah that is pretty gross. So where do you work?� Erik asked me.
�I work at Old Navy. My boss was nice enough to give me this little time off.� I said.
�Old Navy rocks!� Erik said really loudly, and Janie, Jacob and pretty much everyone else around looked at us.
�Well at least that got you two to stop kissing for 5 seconds.� I said while looking at Janie and Jacob.
�Whatever sis. I know you want to be able to do this.� Janie said while looking at me.
�Have a boyfriend? Yah maybe. But I won�t die if I don�t.� I said and Janie rolled her eyes and went back to looking at Jacob.
�So do you want a boyfriend?� Erik asked me while fixing his baseball cap.
�Well if I do I want my relationship to be as good as Janie and Jacob�s. I know I pretend to think it�s gross and stuff, but they really love each other. I mean he wrote a song about how she brings him under her spell. And whenever he calls he always says she�s pretty and all that stuff. I mean don�t you wish you had that kind of relationship?� I asked Erik who looked really into what I was saying.
�Yes! But I mean it�s hard to find that kind of relationship.� Erik said while looking at me.
�Yah I guess.� I said while looking at the ground.
�What�s your favourite O-Town song?� Erik asked me, trying to keep the conversation alive.
�I like �Love Should be a Crime� and �We Fit Together,� but I love all of your songs.� I said, again trying not to sound like a teenybopper.
�Everyone likes �Love Should be a Crime.� What�s up with that?� Erik said, half joking.
�It�s just a different sound from the rest of your album. It doesn�t have any pop sound in it at all.� I said, while looking at Erik.
�Yah well all of the guys and me like it.� Erik said. I was still kind of nervous about talking to him, but he�s so easy to talk to, I started to forget he was Erik of O-Town and just started to think of him as Erik, period.
Chapter 3
Dinnertime at the O-Town house. Alexis�s point of view.
�Jacob that wasn�t funny! I was mad at you for like ever.� I said while looking at Jacob. The other guys were trying hard not to laugh. So was I.
�It was mean then, but now it�s just funny and you know it Lex.� Janie said to me, tears in her eyes from laughing so much.
�Yah I guess.� I said. The whole dinnertime after that, Erik and I kept looking at each other and smiling. I think Jacob noticed.
�Lex can I talk to you?� Jacob asked while I was clearing the dinner table. I nodded my head and followed him up to his room. He hit his hand on his bed, which meant �sit down� so I did.
�What�s up?� I asked him.
�I don�t like the looks you and Erik kept giving each other at the dinner table.� Jacob said very seriously.
�Jacob, I know you�re very protective of me, but he�s 1 of your best friends. And so am I. So you should trust the both of us. We both talked before and we have a lot in common. What�s wrong with having a friend like that?� I asked him, looking into his eyes.
�Nothing. But is that all you want to be with him? Friends?� He asked me, while looking at a picture of him, Janie and I at a Fair a few years ago.
�I don�t know Jacob. Look if the two of us want to become more then friends, then it shouldn�t bother you. You trust Erik and I hope you trust me. And he knows that if he hurts me, he�ll be dealing with you.� I said and Jacob laughed.
�You got that right. So do you want to be more then friends with him?� Jacob asked me while looking me in the eye.
�Well kind of. But I know he wouldn�t want to date me. I�m just a regular girl.� I said.
�So is Janie.� Jacob said, trying to get me to laugh.
�It�s different. You�ve known her all her life.� I said while looking around Jacob�s room and smiling at all the pictures he had of the 3 of us. Before Jacob became famous, we did everything together.
�Well he already likes you. I can tell. But I would prefer if you guys just stayed friends.� Jacob said while looking at me. I laughed.
�Whatever Jake!� I said while getting up of the bed. Erik walked in Jacob�s room.
�Hey Alexis, I was just wondering if maybe you wanted to go sit outside and talk some more?� Erik asked me very sweetly. I looked at Jacob to make sure he didn�t want to talk anymore and he nodded his head, so I followed him outside. We both sat down on the swings.
�So I know nothing about you. What�s your favourite classic TV show?� Erik asked me while swinging back and forth.
�Well my favourite all time classic show is I Love Lucy. But when I was growing up, I always watched Saved by the Bell.� I said also swinging.
�My mom loved I Love Lucy. She has every single episode taped. So I always watched it with her. And Saved by the Ball was ok.� Erik said while looking out into outer space.
�What are you thinking about?� I asked him.
�Just my grandma and how much I miss her. I love Lucy just reminded me of her because she also loved that show.� Erik said.
�I�m sorry. I didn�t mean to do that.� I said, feeling very sorry for Erik.
�It�s ok. I like thinking about her. It always makes me smile.� Erik said while looking into my eyes. I smiled and nodded my head.
�So you don�t have a boyfriend?� Erik asked me, obliviously trying to change the subject.
�Nope. I did. I dated him for 2 years and he dumped me.� I said, remembering all the good times I had with Joey.
�I hate guys like that!� Erik said, making an angry face.
�I loved him a lot. I never told anyone why he actually broke up with me.� I said while looking at my feet.
�Why didn�t you tell anyone?� Erik asked me.
�Because I knew how everyone would act. Erik can I tell you why he broke up with me?� I asked him, hoping he�d say yes. I really felt like I could tell him.
�Of course. Go ahead.� Erik said while looking into my eyes. I took a deep breath.
�He wanted to take our relationship to the next level, if you know what I mean.� I said while looking at Erik�s stomach.
�Yes I do. What happened next?� Erik asked me, while trying to look into my eyes.
�Well when I told him I wasn�t ready, he said it was over.� I said, trying to hold back the tears.
�So all he wanted was-� Erik said, but I finished the sentence for him.
�Yah that�s all he wanted in that relationship. Two years of my life a total waste.� I said.
�So I know you and Janie are close, what did you tell her then?� Erik asked me while whipping a tear away from my face.
�I told her that we both mutually agreed that the relationship wasn�t going to work.� I said while going back to swinging.
�Why didn�t you tell Janie the truth? You guys tell each other everything.� Erik asked, also swinging back and fourth.
�Because she would feel sorry for me and I didn�t want that.� I said and Erik nodded his head.
�I can understand that. So how long ago did you guys break up?� Erik asked while getting off his swing and pushing me.
�A month ago.� I said, while laughing because Erik was pushing me high.
�Wow.� Was all Erik said. He stopped pushing me.
Chapter 4
The next few days I was there I did a few things with Jacob, the 3 of us like old times and had a talk every night with Erik and became very close to him. Today was my day to leave, maybe.
It was 8:30 in the morning and Janie and I were making sure I had everything. Then my cell phone rang. I picked it up.
�Hello.� I said to whomever I was talking to.
�It�s your boss. We know you are in Orlando and we know you wanted to stay longer but you couldn�t. Well good news. You�re able to now. Julie said she would fill on for you for another week.� My boss, Andrew said.
�Thank you so much. Is Jules there?� I asked him. He said yes and went to get her.
�Jules thank you so much! You�re the best!� I said very loudly to Julie. She laughed.
�Well I had to re-pay you for before when you filled in for me. I know you told me I didn�t have to, but I wanted to. Well I have to get back to work. Have a fun time in Orlando. I�ll see you when you get back.� She said and hung up the phone. I told everything to Janie.
�Wow! This is so cool. We need to tell Jacob!� Janie said, while grabbing my hand.
�Ok well you go tell Jacob and I�ll go tell the rest of the guys.� I said, knowing that I needed to tell Erik.
�Well ok you go tell Erik then. Sis you can try and deny it, but your my best friend, I know you.� Janie said and walked into Jacob�s room. I laughed and knocked on Erik�s door.
He opened it and smiled when he saw me.
�Shouldn�t you be getting ready to go?� Erik asked me while sitting on his bed.
�I�m staying another week. My friend from work is going to fill in for me.� I said and Erik hugged me.
�This is so cool!� Erik said, still hugging me. Then I heard 2 familiar laughs coming from the door. I turned around and saw Jacob and Janie standing at the door.
�Don�t you guys knock?� I asked while looking at them.
�The door was open. We were walking by to find you.� Jacob said while coming in. He sat beside me and gave me a hug.
�I�m so happy your staying another week.� Jacob said.
�Well Lex, why don�t we go unpack your stuff.� Janie said and I nodded my head and followed her out of the room.
Erik�s point of view.
�Ok I need to ask you something. Do you want to be more then friends with Alexis?� Jacob asked me. I wasn�t sure what to say. I mean I wanted to be more then friends, but I knew Jacob was protective of her.
�Yes. But please don�t get upset.� I said, while looking at Jacob. He didn�t look mad.
