I am a 20 year old native of upstate New Yok, in the Syracuse area. I'm an Aries in case you're interested in that type of thing...I am. Currently, I am attending the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. I am going to be majoring in Conservation Biology. My dream is to one day work for the Cheetah Conservation Fund. Any one that knows me will tell you that I am crazy about cheetahs. My parents will tell you that I've been practically obsessed since age six. Cheetahs are my passion above everything else. That's saying alot, I have alot of interests. I love animals in general. However, you won't find me supporting organizations like P.e.T.A. , ALF, or the Humane Society. These organizations are not all they are cracked up to be. I am not a vegetarian or vegan and never will be, I am an omnivore as Nature made me. For a few of the reasons that I hate P.e.T.A. viit the websites of the Foundation for Biomedical Research and the Center for Consumer Freedom.
My other obsession is O-Town. You will see them as a recurring theme on this site. If you don't know anything about them, you can go to my page dedicated to them and learn more. I began to like them in 2001 when Making the Band Season 1 was coming to an end. It's not everyday you see five really talented, not to mention extremely good looking guys on tv. It just is not a common occurence. Since the first time I was forced to watch the show I was hooked. Since then, I have been a self dubbed, O-Town addict. Since then, O-Town broke up because of abd stuff in their contracts. They are now pursuing individual endeavors.
Outside of O-Town, music in general is one of my biggest interests. I play the saxophone. Actually three of them, alto, tenor and soprano. I sing a little bit but its mostly with the radio. I was told to "get [my] butt in a recording studio" once though. That was kind of cool. Along with playing and singing, I also listen to a wide range of music. Check out the music page to see what artists I like. I write poetry, but lately I havent had much inspiration. I do have a whopping two happy poems from my time with Jonathan, thats what happens when you write well when depressed.
I also really like Anime, which if you don't know is Japanese animation. I'm a big fan of Fushigi Yuugi, Ah! My Goddess, Magic Knight Rayearth, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Salior Moon, Princess Mononoke as well as the rest of Miyazaki's work, and many many others. I don't want to type them and I'm sure you don't want to read them all. Soon I will add a page which will include all of my favorite animes for those of you that are interested.
Well, let's see, what else can I ramble about? I also love to read. I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter. My favorite authors are Diana Wynne Jones, Victoria Holt, and Lilian Jackson Braun. There are several other single books or series that I enjoy as well. Not only do I love to read but at the other end of the spectrum, I love movies and video games. The Goonies, Ferris Bueller's Day off, the Princess Bride, The Secret Garden, Who framed Roger Rabbit, and The Last Unicorn are among my favorite movies. I also really like The Twilight Zone. I have over 60 episodes. My collection of games is fairly small but I think I have some good games. Warcraft 2 & 3, CSI, Quake III, and Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 for the computer. Twisted Metal 2 & 3, the Spyro series, Lunar, Alundra II, and Harry Potter 1 & 2 for Play Station.
