Welcome
to the new, and hopefully improved, Other Worlds Fanfiction. Two major changes have been implemented
in this incarnation. Firstly, Other
Worlds Fanfiction will now be available for any and all fandoms, rather
than the limited few it catered to before.
The second change is that the majority of Fanfiction will no longer
be housed on this site. Outside
links will be provided. The
reason for these changes is to cover a wider and larger range of
fanfictions. Previously, what was
recommended and housed was limited to what I had read personally, in the
fandoms I read. Additionally, space
was limited, and bandwidth problems meant that Other Worlds Fanfiction was
often down. Also, Authors
permission will not be needed, so a greater number of fanfics will be
eligible. It means less work for me
as well, so there should be more frequent updates and a greater number of
new fics being added with each update. The
updates list will be changed to an open group, so I hope you all take
advantage of it and recommend fanfics to me. For quality control, a fanfic will need two recommendations
before I post it, but each recommendation will be posted on the list and on
the site to help with the process. I
look forward to your help in making Other Worlds Fanfiction an invaluable
guide to finding quality Fanfiction on the net. X’ira
