Have you ever noticed how the hardest topic for any type of writing is yourself??? Well that holds true here as well. I've been muddling around for weeks trying to come up some ideas for this, and well this is what I came up with. For starters, how about the basics, I'm 30 years old and live in Tennessee with my wife, Angela , and our four kids. I just got out of the Army in January where I used to work as a helicopter mechanic/shop supervisor. Started doing that about twelve years ago. People ask me all the time if I liked my job and the answer to that is a firm "sorta, yeah, I suppose" or I get asked what the heck possessed me to give it up 7 years from retirement, well one of these days I'm gonna get around to posting a detailed list on here but the general gist of it is... I love working on Aircraft, that's something I think I can never get tired of, but sometimes the soldiering part of it made it kinda rough though. It's a job you really have to enjoy doing in order to stick with it, I had to spend quite a bit of time away from my family, the pay was never really what most people would call decent, the benefits were eroding, and the hours were long and the work was far from easy. Well, after a year of unemployment and tiresome searching, the job hunt is finally over. I've just settled into a new job, and the good part is that I get to do what I thoroughly enjoy...fix aircraft...without all the bull that I cant stand...soldiering. That said, I don't really like "talking shop" so let's move on. ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ As far as hobbies go, I don't really have very many. When I get the chance, I do like to get out and have fun. My favorite pass-time is probably just to go hang out at the bar with my wife and friends. I just enjoy hanging out amongst good company, listening to good music, and enjoying the atmosphere. I listen to all types of music, my preferences tend to lean more toward modern country and classic rock. I don't really have a favorite group, but there are a few that I think are better than others, such as: Jimmy Buffett, George Thorogood and the Destroyers, Bob Dylan, the Grateful Dead, the Doors, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, and the like. I spend alot of time messing around with my computers too, I don't exactly know alot about them but it seems like every time I touch one I learn something new, and it seems like more and more people I know are coming to me for advice about these silly things so I guess I know a little about them. Most of what I use computers for though is just simple stuff like: games (Quake, C&C/Red Alert, CivII, etc.), overflow office work and some school work, and then of course there's chat, I've be through the whole array of chat stuff that's available out there, and some of it is alright but I think I've pretty much settled on one and that's ICQ,, for those of you that are already running ICQ, my number is 28991094, if you don't already have it, check out the message panel below, you can leave me a message, find out more about it, and even download it if you want to try it. Then of course there's all the fun stuff I used to do and cant now just cuz all the responsibilities of work and home just make it impossible to do such as going out and enjoying the outdoors ( camping, rappelling, the beach, skiing, stuff like that). And if you're really bored you can check out my spin on life on the internet. ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ Or drop me a line on Yahoo Instant messenger
