A Day With the Psychiatrist

Kara relaxed in the nice leather chair she was sitting in. She smiled at Karen, Leeann, and Cardiff, who were standing next to the door. Their expressions varied: happy and calm, nervous, and angry. Kara made a mental note of this.
"Please, come in," she greeted. "Pick a couch. Any couch." Cardiff looked at the couches. Seeing that each of them was too small for her height, she laid on the floor and was instantly comfortable. Leeann laid down on her side on a leather couch. Karen sat gingerly on the edge of a worn, cloth couch.
Kara smiled at the camera. "Hello, everyone. Im Kara. If my patients will please introduce themselves.." She waved a hand in Leeanns direction.
"Im Leeann Sanchez," Leeann said in a very flirty voice as she winked at the cameraman. The cameraman blushed. He turned the camera to look at Cardiff.
"Cardiff Tenoh," she informed him without opening her eyes. He turned the camera to Karen.
Karen blushed. She stammered, "Uh Karen."
Kara smiled a cover-girl smile and gently asked Karen, "And whats your last name?"
"Jaquoes," Karen muttered in a hardly audible voice. The camera turned to Kara.
"Right," Kara said. "Now we know the patients. Id like to know your life stories. Who wants to start?"
"I do!" Leeann chimed in her best flirty-cheerleader-voice while she raised one hand.
"All right, Leeann. Lay down," Kara instructed. Kara pulled a notepad and a pen out of her desk drawer.
"Now, tell me, Leeann, what do you think your purpose in life is?"
"Oh, I dont know, but it involves cute guys," Leeann winked at the cameraman.
"Mmm Hey, Leeann, leave Jos alone."
Karen smiled. "Oh, camera dude has a name."
Cardiff opened her eyes and looked at Karen, asking, "Why do we need a camera anyway?"
"How should I know.. Hey, thats a good question. Kara, why is Jos even here?"
Kara looked slightly annoyed. "The camera is for my personal records."
"Hey, Jos, can I have your number?" Leeann asked.
"Can I get your number baby?" Karen sang.
Kara sighed, "This is going downhill fast."
"Hit me with the seven digits," Karen continued.
"Really, Kara, why is camera-dude even here?" Cardiff pressed.
"I told you, personal records!"
Leeann smiled at Jos. "So, you busy next Friday?"
"Ive been east, Ive been west, even all around the world, but Im never seen a girl like you. Ive seen blondes, and brunettes, and some really-hot-redheads, but Ive never seen a girl like you. Can I get your number baby? Hit me with the seven digits," Karen finished.
Kara asked Karen, "What, did she have black hair?"
"Maybe her hair was blue," Karen suggested.
"Maybe she was bald," Cardiff contributed.
"So, Jos, do you like Gundam Wing?" Leeann questioned.
Kara begged, "Please dont pollute my records with your flirting."
Cardiff stated, "But if theyre your personal records, then why do you care if Leeann acts normal?"
"Yeah" Karen seconded, "and why are you dressed in that business outfit? And, more importantly, why do you always do that cover-girl smile at the camera?"
"Im thinking of going on the air someday," Kara huffed, "and I have to practice."
"Go on the air?" Karen repeated in outrage. "All my friends would think I was insane!"
"You are insane," Cardiff muttered.
"All of your friends know youre here," Kara said.
"Not Trunks or Henry!" Karen protested.
"Those are your crushes, not your friends," Kara corrected.
"Mph."
"Now, Leeann, how long have you felt this way?"
Cardiff raised an incriminating eyebrow at Jos. She whispered to Karen, "I think camera-dudes gotta go."
"Just the camera," Karen snarled. Cardiff looked momentarily disappointed. Realizing that it could be worse, she smirked.
"Hey, camera-dude!" Cardiff yelled. Jos sweatdropped.
"What is it now?" Kara snapped irritably.
"Catch!" Cardiff jeered as she shot a ki blast at Jos. Kara looked startled. Leeann looked petrified. Jos yelled and threw the camera into the air. The ki blast obliterated it. Jos, caught in the shock wave, went flying backwards.
"No!" Leeann screamed. She stood between Jos and Cardiff, her arms outstretched. "I wont let you hurt him!"
"Relena," Jos whispered.
"What did you just say?!?!" Leeann demanded.
Jos smiled weakly, saying, "Like when Relena stood between Hiro and Duo. Youre my Relena. Relena is so beautiful"
"What?" Leeann screamed. "Did you just call that thing beautiful?!?"
Karen and Cardiff laughed so hard they had to lean on each other for support. Kara scowled.
"Why you dirty, rotten" Leeann growled as she kicked Jos viciously. "Comparing me to that"
Cardiff and Karen were now laughing so hard that they couldnt even stand. They were sitting on the floor, back to back. Kara continued to scowl.
"One way to end a relationship with Leeann" Cardiff gasped.
"Call her Relena" Karen commented. She and Cardiff started laughing even harder. Against her will, Karas lips cracked into a smile and she started laughing.
Chiquita walked into the room, unnoticed by the others. Her purple-blue eyes darted around the room, taking in the scene. Jos, crumpled on the floor and crying next to Karas prized leather couch as Leeann kicked him. A smoldering, black dent in the floor. Kara, standing in front of her desk, snickering like she was high on something. Karen and Cardiff, clutching their stomachs and rolling around on the floor as they laughed so hard that tears streamed down their faces.
"Riiiiiight," Chiquita muttered. She turned and quickly walked out of the room.
By Karen. This story was not intended to offend anyone.
