Who are we?Japanese Animation and Manga Club (JAM no Kenkyukai a.k.a. JnK) is a student organization (run through Columbia College Chicago) dedicated to fostering a greater awareness of Japanese culture as well as an appreciation of different styles through the medium of animation. We seek to unite a diverse student body under one common interest. The club is comprised of a great number of students, all from diverse backgrounds. We gather once a week to screen different anime (both feature length movies and animated T.V. shows). We try to show the most current, cutting-edge anime on a regular basis. Every once and a while we may show some classics you may have missed. Whether you are new to the world of anime or a collector who has seen it all, JnK always has something to see. How do I join?
It's easy to become a member of the JnK. Simply attend a meeting, and you're in! We are always on the lookout for new and enthusiastic individuals to become part of our ever-growing organizaton. Bring some tapes and a friend! Everyone is welcome! We are meeting every Friday, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm At the 1104 South Wabash (otherwise know as the 11th st. campus) in ROOM #425.
