Once everyone is prepared, the back table is set up, and your surgeon has met with you in the pre-operative area, you will be wheeled down the hall to your operating room. As you go down the hall, the doors you see on the right open up into operating rooms. There are 19 operating rooms at Memorial Hospital including four orthopaedic rooms, two ENT rooms, four general surgery rooms, four cardiac surgery rooms, three urology suites, and two procedure rooms.
