This is where the actual procedure will take place. (If you were actually standing here you might have your breath taken away by the cold air.) The surgical suites are kept fairly cool for a number of reasons, it gets very hot in surgical scrubs and a gown working under hot lights, cooler temperatures cut back on bacterial growth, and it keeps us all awake! But don't worry, Memorial has plenty of blanket warmers, so just ask for another warm blanket!
