November 15 "Joe Trio" Concert Osoyoos The Osoyoos and District Arts Council kicks off its 2007/2008 Concert Series with Joe Trio. The versatile and witty piano trio performs both classic and contemporary music as well as their own arrangements of popular jazz and rock tunes. Concert starts at 8:00 PM at the Osoyoos Secondary School Mini-Theatre. Advance tickets available at Imperial Office Pro in Osoyoos and Periwinkles in Oliver for $15. November 16-17 Arts & Crafts Show Oliver Two-day show held at the Oliver Community Centre. Doors open to the public from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Friday and from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday. Features arts and crafts and food from nearly 40 vendors and artisans. Admission by donation. Proceeds provide bursaries for local high school students pursuing an arts education. November 20 Chez Femme Dinner and Fashion Show Osoyoos 10th annual Soroptimist Dinner and Fashion Show held at the Elks Hall in Osoyoos. Doors open at 5:00 PM, dinner at 6:30 PM followed by the fashion show at 8:00 PM. Tickets available at Pharmasave Health Centre for $27 per person. December 7-8 Christmas Lite-up and Craft Fair Osoyoos Holiday season kicks off Friday evening with a Santa Parade beginning at 6:30 PM and a Merchant Open House and caroling from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Dec 9 Breakfast with Santa Osoyoos Hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion from 8:30 to 11:00 AM upstairs at the Legion Hall. Features a pancake breakfast, door prize draw and pictures with Santa ($1.50 per photo). December 16 Winter Wonderland Oliver Runs from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday evening. The Oliver Arena is transformed into a Winter Wonderland for skating and other winter fun. December 22-31 Holiday Events Mt. Baldy On December 22 nd Breakfast With Santa runs from 9:00 to 10:30 AM in the caf�. December 24 th features Carols Through the Village starting at 7:00 PM at the top of the village. On December 30 the first in a series of Frisbee Golf events is scheduled. New Year�s Eve festivities include a Kids New Year celebration, live music in the Baldy Bar and the annual Torch Light Parade down the mountain.
